My fiancé got my engagement ring customized here, we needed it resized which was completed in a reasonable time. However, when I went to pick up my ring the sale’s associates, Franlis and a young lady, took a photo of the current state in which I noticed what appeared to be a chip and one of the metal prongs not being cleaned up well. I requested to see the initial photos that were taken and of course the initial photo didn’t capture that area. I was told that it is an inclusion and it will be identified on my certification card. Me not being a gemologist, I took my ring and went home to view my certification card and nowhere on the certificate does it identify an inclusion. Following me viewing it, I took my ring to an actual jeweler, David Arlen Jewelers to be exact, where the jeweler inspected my ring and informed me that the area is indeed a chip along the girdle of the diamond which was likely from too much pressure being applied when the diamond was initially set. He also informed me that the metal area on that side where the prong is should have been cleaned better. I then went back to Kay Jewelers to have my ring sent back out for inspection and when it came back the jeweler said that it was an inclusion. With my fiancé having a warranty and insurance on the ring through Kay, one would think that a customer who’s dissatisfied, the sales associate would have the jeweler set a new diamond of the same cut, carat, clarity and color with cleaning the metal along the prong to please the customer given the amount of money...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible experience working with Franlis Rivera at Kay Jewelers! As someone who was nervous and unsure about buying an engagement ring, Franlis made the process so smooth and enjoyable.
From the moment we walked in, Franlis was incredibly patient, friendly, and personable. He took the time to really understand what I was looking for and provided thoughtful recommendations without being pushy. Franlis was a true active listener - he asked great questions to get a sense of my partner's style and preferences, and then guided me towards options that would be perfect.
Beyond just being helpful, Franlis was also extremely knowledgeable about diamonds, settings, and the entire jewelry industry. He clearly has a deep passion for what he does and was able to educate me on the important factors to consider. I never felt like I was being sold to, but rather that Franlis genuinely wanted to help me find the right ring.
The level of personalized service and care that Franlis provided was truly exceptional. He was empathetic to my nerves and budget constraints, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and confident with my purchase.
I cannot recommend Franlis and the team at Kay Jewelers highly enough. If you're in the market for an engagement ring or any other jewelry, do yourself a favor and work with Franlis Rivera - you won't be...
Read moreI wanted to surprise my husband with a new wedding ring because the old one he had was damaged. I walked into this Kay Jewelers location knowing exactly what I wanted. I came in with a design in mind, but I was provided with even better ideas for the ring that was no more expensive than my original design. I worked with Franlis Rivera on this project and his attitude from the first day I walked in there until my very last day was top notch. He was extremely patient with me until we came to a mutual agreement on the official design of the ring. He kept me updated on all milestones of the project to a point where I trusted him to make decisions on my behalf. He became the one I sought advice from and I couldn't have asked for a better partner on this. It's safe to say that all future jewelry for myself and my family, will surely come from Kay Jewelers. Specifically, we would love to work with Franlis Rivera once again. I am extremely satisfied with the service and result of this. And my husband is in awe. Please find the before and after photos...
