Horrible costumer service by Joe who claimed to be the owner of this location. I was sold a damaged battery. The negative terminal was bent on it and I couldn’t get a bolt though it to connect it to my lawn mower. At the time of purchase I did not know this as it had a cover on it. This location was on my way to where I needed to instill the battery, where I need the battery is an hour away from this location. I bring the battery to a different location. And there was nothing they could do I had to drive an hour back to where I got the battery from to try to exchange it. When I arrive at this location with the damaged battery I am then accused of dropping the battery, the battery did not have any damage on it other than that one negative terminal. I explained to him that I didn’t drop it and that’s why and how I can prove it to you. If it is was dropped there would be other damage to it, it would have at least a single scratch on the plastic part or something and there was nothing. Also the positive terminal was fine. Rather than exchanging it he continues to accuse me of dropping it. He then try’s to “fix” it and breaks it all the way off while doing this. I then ask well now can I have a new one? The the response I get is “ I never want to see you in my store again don’t come in for key fobs, phone repairs or anything “ yup you got it have a great day. Good luck trying to return or exchange anything here.
Joe can respond to everyone else’s review’s but for some reason he doesn’t want to respond to mine. So he just sends me a email. I thought I would do him the curiosity of posting his response for him. Below is a screenshot shot of what he sent me. My response is as follows, You were rude to your costumer and also very deceptive. Yes it was damaged you sold it to me damaged so that’s why I wanted a new one, and you had a huge fit about it when you sold me a damaged product. Not sure why that’s my fault that’s it’s not covered under warranty? Your shouldn’t have sold it to me like that then. Like you can’t cover it under warranty so your just going to cover it up and sell it to a costumer anyway? Doesn’t seem right to me. So yes I was upset about that. I understood there were piler marks on the negative terminal I explained to you the other store I went to caused them, they took the battery in the back and I don’t know what they did with it from there. Then I drove an hour back to your store to be accused of dropping the battery when I didn’t and there was not other evidence of it being dropped.
Not sure how you know what company I work for as this was a personal use purchase and has nothing to do with the company I work for. So if you do I will be sure that my employer knows that and I will explain the whole situation to him. Then I’m sure no one from my company will be shopping...
Read moreI spent $80 to have my battery replaced. The phone was given back to me without the sim card in it. Once I realized my smartphone had essentially become a palm pilot, the store was closed, so I had to return to the store the following day (and be late for work) to get the sim card that was forgotten. Also, the wireless charging of my phone no longer worked after the battery replacement. Upon inquiry, I was told that testing wireless charging was part of their "protocol" upon all battery replacements, and therefore, the wireless charging was surely working fine when I left the store. Sorry, but I don't have much faith that "protocols" were followed in...
Read moreHave received great products and service here - visited multiple times since they opened. We've had car batteries replaced, phone batteries replaced, phone screens repaired. Most recently, my vehicle started throwing charging system warning messages after work late in the day. Joe had me bring it right over and tested the battery, starter and alternator for free. Quickly identified the alternator as the issue and directed me to take it right to the shop. Followed up to make sure I got there safely. I trust Batteries Plus in Burlington to provide great products and service and to stand behind the work...
