I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer with two phones on my account, paying $240 a month. Recently, I purchased a new phone outright at Best Buy and used Smart Switch to transfer my data. Unfortunately, my texts and notes didn’t move over properly. I went to the Verizon store on Milwaukee Ave in Burlington for assistance, hoping for some guidance.
The woman working there, who is always monotone and emotionless, told me she’d charge $30 to answer my question and help with the issue. I find it ridiculous that as a loyal customer, I would have to pay extra for basic help, especially considering the significant monthly amount I already paid. Customer service should be about supporting the people who trust you with their business.
