Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Burlington

After this experience, I will never ever go back to a Pizza Hut again. The description says “dine in” as an option. They need to take that off. We went out of our way to go to a dine in Pizza Hut because my son really wanted to. We don’t go out to eat often, tight budget. I was disappointed from the moment I walked in. 10 tables available, all of them filthy. When I asked the female worker if she could please wipe off our table, she gave me a snotty look, didn’t speak, and took what looked like a dirty wet sponge and wiped about 3/4 of it. When I asked her to come back since she missed so much, she gave me another dirty look as if I was really putting her out, and wiped off just a little more. Again, would not speak. Just a look as if I’m asking her to turn cartwheels. I wouldn’t of minded washing it off myself, just to be able to eat off a clean table, but evidently that was not an option. The floor was dirty, the chairs were sticky, everything was filthy, and these young workers acted like it’s not their job to clean it. Gave me the impression that they can’t be fired because there’s nobody else to do the job anyway. We got two boxes plopped on our table. Again not dine in. We had to eat off the cardboard box. As my son was about to take a bite of his pizza, I had to stop him and pull off a hair that was about 6 inches long, which did not belong to any of us. 😣 We all lost our appetites at that point. I would’ve mentioned this to the workers, but the female worker had already appeared so upset with me for daring to ask her politely to clean our table, it made me very uncomfortable to approach her again.

We went away hungry.

I don’t know what’s happening to this world, but if employees like that are an indication of the future, we are all in big trouble.

For starters, I will never order a pizza from here again. I've been a Pizza Hut fan always but the pizza I got last night wasn't even edible and that's coming from 3 guys drinking beer during the Packer game who aren't very picky.

First off, the crust was super thin. No big deal less carbs I suppose; however, when I picked a piece up, it completely flopped down and most of the ingredients fell onto my plate. My bad, gotta fold the pizza in half right?! Upon further inspection the "crust," aka raw dough, wasn't even close to being cooked all the way. If a 1st grader was given the ingredients and told to make a pizza I'm confident something better would have come out of the oven.

But continuing on, yes it continued to fail. The pizza was a stuffed crust, one of their best things even when the pizza itself falls short at least there's that delicious crust! Again, I was slapped in the face with disappointment. The crust looked good but after biting in, it too was doughy and not cooked right. Whatever, we were drinking beers and the Packers were about to win so we will eat some more anyway. After chewing the cheese I was overwhelmed by chunks of salt. I don't know if this is something new they have done but it was absolutely disgusting to chew through these large chunks of salt in the cheese. Never again will I order that garbage they call pizza.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I would give negtive stars if I could. Found hair BAKED IN TO THE CHEESE. I called, was offered refund or remake then he told me to hang on... And then HUNG UP ON ME! called back and got Greg, who said the cook was calling me a liar, that they don't do refunds. Seriously? Greg was talking to us and we asked to get this sorted but he left the phone without telling us he was leaving and didn't come back for three minutes. Greg then called back and apologized. Thanks. We talked to Ken today, the GM. As my boyfriend was explaining this situation, he interrupted and said he couldn't do anything. He interrupted several times after that. He stated that it is policy that people on the phone are of low priority. Disgusting. Would he have walked away if we were in the building?? I paid money!! Over $20 for pizza we had to throw out. We were told to complete our surveys and as we did... One of the two codes was already used so we couldn't complain to corporate like they told us to. They're trying to cover their own... Disgusting and never going to be a customer ever again. Especially since corporate refuses to converse with me or offer me an apology, refund, or coupon (not that I'd use it to get more...
