My family and I have been customers of Culver's for many years. When my family moved to Burlington in March, we were excited to have a location near us. This is the third time, at this location, a grilled cheese has not been cooked since we've tried ordering it. The bread was not toasted, the cheese was barely melted, and it was very mushy. We sent it back. It was remade without any notes given to the kitchen staff so it came out the same-undercooked bread. The food runner took it to the back and told them to make me "a perfect grilled cheese." He must have been ignored because we waited 15 minutes before a possible manager or supervisor (did not have a name tag) asked us if we'd been helped. She brought the first mistake grilled cheese back to the cook to show him what not to do. We'd been waiting 40 minutes at this point so our custard was melted (they gladly scooped new scoops) and our food was either cold (fries) or warm (salad).
In addition, the girl who scooped our custard itched her nose before scooping our custard (thankfully before the first scoops that were remade, not the ones we ended up taking home).
I am not impressed. I usually don't write reviews because I've done food service and I know how it goes. But I paid for this food and I want it cooked. Is that too much to ask? The possible manager/supervisor did give us a certificate for one free value basket, but I will be sure to use it at another location.

Read moreI am not one of those people that ever leave negative reviews as I work in customer service; I get it. Tonight was the worst! My husband and I pulled up ordered a pub burger with cheese curds, an extra fry, an addition pub burger basket with fries and a vanilla shake. The girl seemed distracted when taking our order as the car ahead of us appeared to be one of her friends. It appeared several emoloyees were cubed with this same vehicle. We pulled ahead to wait and realized my husband didn't receive his drink. He said it wasn't that big of a deal bc we had water in the car. The young gentleman came to the truck and asked if we had a pub burger as apparently our #78 didn't match the receipt number. We said we had 2 pub burgers. The employee went back in..We sat there for 15 min. I finally went in and thre same employee helped me. I told him that we had been waiting and asked if he had our order since he had talked to us outside and knew we were waitting. He explained that he didn't know which order was ours even though he said that our sticker said #78 but the receipt said #77. He proceeded to give me the bag that had been sitting under the heat lamp with one burger and fries. I explained again what we ordered and he did get it made in a few minutes. My issue is that it should not have taken us 25 min in the drive thru with a messed up order and then given me the burgerv that sat under the heat lamp for that 15 min?.?? Update!! Went through the drive thru and asked for a turtle Sunday Got up to the window and the had a flavor of the day turtle. I told the gentleman that’s not what I ordered, I would like a Sunday, not the flavor dish. He ABSOLUTELY could not understand what a Sunday was, not sure if it was his 1st day or what. After several minutes of waiting for him to try and figure this out and speaking to other staff. He asked for payment for a Sunday and he asked if I’d like the flavor of the day to make up with the mistake and he wasn’t going to charge me. I agreed and waited a little longer. After a couple a minutes he gave be back my card for purchasing the Sunday . I asked him about my Sunday, he said “ oh you still want that”. My wife and I couldn’t wait any longer so we reluctantly left. Next day I looked at my bank statement and I was charged for something I didn’t want!!
