Awesome experience!!!! I'd give 10 stars if I could! My husband needed a new battery for his '09 Corvette. (Little history first) We had bought a battery with a 2 year warranty from one of the 'big box' auto stores Jan 3, 2016. Feb 2017 it quit holding a charge so he went in & exchanged it. We figured the new replacement battery also came with it's own 2 year warranty, meaning we were covered through Feb 2019. Fast forward to Dec 29, 2018, Car wouldn't start so now the exchanged battery had let us down too. Went back to the 'big box' store & were informed the warranty back dated to the original purchase date & the fact that the 1st battery was bad & exchanged didn't 'extend' the warranty. They said we'd have to buy a new battery. Given the experience with the 2 batteries, we certainly didn't want to buy those again. Husband went online & researched prices & info. Batteries Plus Bulbs had a Duracell battery which is a trusted, made in the USA, brand name. (note*I got tired of searching online today who made the other battery) Duracell was $10 cheaper PLUS we got another 10% off when we placed order online & picked up in store!! (For the record, both batteries have same cranking amps & warranty periods.) He placed order online Jan 1, 2019 with note to call when ready for pickup. Nick called us on the 2nd, told us it was a non-stock item, said when it was expected & said he'd call when arrived. The day Nick called back, my husband wasn't available to go get it so I put the core in my car & drove over. Right as I went in, they got slammed with customers however Nick & Jeremy were both pleasant & courteous not only to me, but to everyone who needed assistance. They helped me with the pick up & core exchange refund & also patiently answered questions about a cell phone issue I was having (there were posters up in the store that they repair cell phones, tablets, etc. I didn't know they did that! My issue wasn't a repair but Jeremy gave me some tips for the problem.) Afterwards Nick was nice enough to carry the new battery to my car, which I greatly appreciated. We've always bought cell phone batteries from Batteries Plus Bulbs & now it looks like our car batteries will be coming from there, too! And, because I trust them, I'll also go to them if/when we need phone or tablet repairs. :) P.S. make sure to check their website...
Read moreOn Sat 06/17/17 I went online and ordered 2 batteries for my Ram Diesel truck. The website indicated the local Burlington NC store had 2 available. After the very smooth transaction, I waited to hear from the store to let me know the batteries were ready for pick-up. After approx. 5mins. an email came through and I prepared to pick them up. I then received a phone call from the Burlington store a young man advised me that he had not realized until too late that his store only had 1 battery and that if I wanted the 2, he could have the second battery delivered by Tuesday the 20th. He went on to explain the second battery is at the Greesnboro, NC store approx. 30 miles away. I asked if I could go to the Greensboro store and pick up the second battery. He advised that I could and we proceeded from there.
Although, all employees of Batteries Plus were quite cooperative and sincere regarding the error. The original error should have not been made in the first place. Yes, this was an incredible inconvenience and difficult to fix on my part.
I suggest to Batteries-Plus that although the website is quick and slick it still and should rely on human oversite. So train your oversite better, allow them much more latitude with incidents such as mine. Allow them the opportunity to not only remedy the problem but to fix it without ME having to do...

I am interested in finding the name of the owner so I can place a response of my interaction ( with Scott Williams and/or staff ) as a first time customer here in Burlington . A total fail , in fact three different ways in one encounter . When asked the clerk retrieved the wrong product . When i called and informed her of the error she wrongly stated that it would not be a problem to come back and exchange the product. I came back and they did not have it . So again wrong . I wished to communicate to the franchise owner , she refused . Hmm. should I not consider this also a short coming . He or She does not want customers to know who's franchise this is . I have wonder at the reason. In addition I see they also claim to repair phones . While there they turned away yet another customer with out providing said service . Wow , I must say this they are consistent . I of course will never give them a chance to waste my time and efforts . The ( certified , business shirt wearing clerk was not authorized to give me a discount on my purchase which was higher than other stores . So in the long run shop somewhere else save time and money where you can actually be taken care of ....
