Consignment Connection — Local services in Burlington

I drove 3 hours to the Burlington/Greensboro area to hit 4 antique malls and this was one of them and the only place I've been to several times before. To be correct, this is not really an antique mall, it is set up like one, but it does carry many new items and loads of gorgeous inexpensive furniture from North Carolina's factories. I saw a Hooker demilune chest for $235 that I own and I paid years ago a heavily discounted price of $600 for it. I saw beautifully framed artwork for $15 and $20. I did not find anything this time to buy , but I've gotten great deals in the past and I saw plenty of nice items today , just don't have the room anymore. Lots of vendors with individual booths, mostly unique newer and refurbished furniture, some clothes, shoes and accessories, lots of decorations, paintings, kitchen items and more! Also a mix of yard/outdoor items too under the covered entryway. You can easily spend several hours looking through all the items here. Great if you are furnishing a new house, looking for some decorations to lighten up your space, or maybe just getting a gift or candle for someone. Friendly staff, and sales pop up from different vendors all the time. This place is a great resource for used items (and some new) that are always changing (i.e. they sell!) While some booths might have some items you won't look twice at, keep going and you will find just the right thing. If not, come back in a week or a month.

If you are looking for garage-sale prices, go to garage sales. I've always found CC's pricing fair comparable to the condition of the piece. To be fair, the consignor has the final say on the pricing and could be willing to negotiate; and, as most of you have inferred, the better the price, the quicker...
