I walked in, took a seat, and took notice of the absolutely unprofessional behavior of the entire staff.
The cook, least bothersome of the crew, had trap music playing a bit louder than necessary.
A long-haired young woman took to the open area of the floor TO TWERK IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing.
A short-haired young woman almost immediately, and politely, took my drink order, handed me a menu, and brought me a sweet tea long past its prime. This woman was the obvious rapper of the crew, spitting bars along with whichever song was playing. She was so into her stage show, that she never returned for my order, or so that I could switch my tea for something else. Now, to be fair, there were about seven other patrons seated, which may have been overwhelming to the crew, so much, that they had to throw an impromptu party to get themselves back on track. She never did make it back to where I was seated. After roughly THIRTY MINUTES, I laid $2 on the table for the tea, and walked out, without being noticed.
I live a few minutes' walk from this location, and will visit again, but not if I see any of this group throwing another one of their parties. What...

Read moreThis restaurant has been recently rebuilt. We visited on December 1, 2018. The store was very clean and even though the dining area is a little smaller now, it still has ample space and my service animal and I were able to comfortably move around and get seated out of the way of other patrons. The staff was very friendly, and attentive. Our waitress checked back with us often to make sure we had what we needed. The coffee was very good. I had a waffle, two eggs over well and sausage. It was a splendid meal to start off our day of errands. I also want to add that the staff seemed to be familiar with service animal rules. After a customer complained about "having to eat in a barn", the associate he spoke to told him plainly that my animal was a service animal and was allowed inside with me. We will...
