No idea how this place has such high ratings lol. I'm guessing people who haven't been to many go-kart courses?
Some of the staff were nice, others were painfully disinterested.
The karts are a gamble. Maybe you'll get one that works, maybe you won't 🫤
The course is very tight and small. Expect a dozen laps in a more tight and repetitive environment. Some people may prefer this. If you have a broken kart, it makes it that much less enjoyable.
I guess this place is cheaper than others, so if you're on a very tight budget for gokarting, this is definetly the "budget" go-kart place for the west metro.
My favorite part was trying to find a helmet that wasn't disgusting. If you have your own, bring your own. When I found one that didn't smell of vomit and Doritos, it had a very finger-smudged visor. I asked an employee if they had a way for me to clean the visor. He blankly looked at me and just said No hahahaha. Like yeah, I can tell LOL.
My second favorite part: the 10 year Olds bumping so viciously that it became painful, and the employees finding it amusing rather than enforcing their rule of no bumping hahaha.

Read moreThought this would be a great place to take my mother in Minneapolis- she's 60. We had a great first two races as we arrived around 4pm. Then they brought other into our last race, which was fine, until a dude with a neck-brace helmet showed up. This dude was purposely putting every person he passed into the wall/hitting them. We didn't even race because every person he went by, he hit. My friend got turned by him 3x and I got pissed when he slammed my mother into the wall on purpose. The flaggers did nothing.
This place isn't safe if they allow this type of behavior. I even purposely slammed the dude back into the wall as hard as I could and the flagger didn't care. Dude has a "neck brace" - does this all the time
If I was the owner - I'd be upset - the staff allowed "non-racers" (no name) to race the entire time I was there - and then they're slamming/damaging these karts like that? Owner must not be around much, I can't see the karts being cheap to fix/replace.
Won't be back due to safety / don't recommend you let your children race...
Read moreThis is one of the most fun and adrenaline pumping things to do in the Minneapolis, MI area. You are literally driving this little racing go-cart and competing against your friends, other drivers and , most importantly, against the clock for the fastest lap around. Where you are lined up on pit row makes no difference or determination of where you will place at the finish line. Your individual lap times start at the Start/Finish line so you are essentially racing against the clock and not necessarily the other drivers on the coarse. Each lap around is calculated individually. Have a poor / slow lap due to sliding on the track and bumping a barrier? No worries!! You are only ranked by your fastest lap in the final race rankings. I suggest you purchase a 3 race package because it may take you a race or two to get the hang of controlling your racecar. I highly...
