I didn’t get to go to prom, so I decided to help a friends daughter go. My husband seen Bella Boutique on the news and said, honey, try this place. So I did and it was like a Cinderella ending for her. First step, buy her ticket. Prom was one week away and it was a last minute decision to help her. See, she is a plus size girl and I was worried about the Boutique finding a dress in her size. I think she was worried also on the drive there. The Bella was super great on communication between us before we arrived and very nice to us when we got there. She is a shy girl and could tell she was very nervous, but they overcame that obstacle with her. Due to her size they pulled a dress from their inventory and wow, it was gorgeous, simple and her favorite color. How did they know? Like a fairy godmother knows all. I got her a grey sheer floral shawl to wear and the floral was brought out with the color of dress perfectly. I gave her money to go shoe shopping that evening with her mom and she found a pair of Cinderella shoes but not glass. Mom sent me a photo of her big smile.

I had the worst experience at this store.First off it is super tiny and no where to sit or stand to see your daughter in the dress she chose to try on. We were told to move out of the way so the girls could look at them selves. (Ok fine)Then while My daughter was trying on dresses for homecoming, there was one lady that made my daughter feel horrible to the point she was crying in the dressing room. I tried my best and kept my mouth shut, so I didn't further embarrass my daughter. I advised my daughter to get dressed and we left. I feel as though if your a heavy set young woman you do NOT receive the same treatment as a smaller young woman. It's truly sad that adults treat kids like this. Don’t find the owner very kind in the least, she is very pushy and gets upset when you don’t want to purchase from her or you aren’t able to find what you are looking for. Daughter was looking for a specific type of dress and they didn’t have it, owner tried to force her to try one on she stated was “the exact same thing” and it was nothing even close. The only reason I even rated 2 stars is because the young girl that was working there that helped my daughter zip and tie her dresses was very kind. I wouldn’t shop here unless you want to be treated like trash for not purchasing, but on the other hand if the owner was a little kinder maybe we would have took her advice and ordered from the book as she advised… found a beautiful dress elsewhere anyways with wonderful people for...
