I changed my 5 star to a 2 star because back in February during the snowy month I went to have my car cleaned, it was very busy and the gentleman that works there came up to my car and asked me what package I was looking to have done. I wanted the $15 one and he told me that if I paid $1 more I could get unlimited washes for the month. It seemed like a no brainer. He then proceeded to punch it in on the screen, took my card and inserted it and told me I was good to go. Well the month was up and the next thing I know $32 was taken out of my account without my consent. I immediately went online to their website and filled out a cancelation request and explained what happened and that I never agreed to a monthly service for $32. Well I never heard back from them and just assumed that it was canceled and had to take the loss of $32. Now April comes and I see I was charged another $32! At this point I'm upset! $64 and I hadn't been there since February! I call the carwash and the voicemail said to email them which I did. I explained the situation and asked for them to cancel the monthly service and that I wanted a refund since I never consented to any of this. They wrote back that they canceled it and that was it. They completely ignored the fact that I was asking for a refund. I sent them another email specifically asking for my money back with an attached screenshot of the cancelation form I filled out back in March online. They are now ignoring my emails! To say I'm furious is an understatement! I will never go back there again after this! Terrible customer service! So if a worker comes up to your car and attempts to input anything on the screen, do not let him because chances are you'll probably be paying for something that you...
Read moreIf I could give this less than a 1 star, I would. I was there at about 10 yesterday morning(3/18). I did my grocery shopping, came home, and as I was coming back out of the garage for my second trip of bringing groceries in, I noticed a pretty significant scratch on the top of my vehicle. I'm one to park away from people, so I'm almost certain it didn't happen while at ShopRite. I live 5 mins from that area, and nothing happened on my way home. I had tried calling the car wash and got no answer. I tried an email and just woke up to one from the owners. As I have now read the reviews, every response they have is basically 'we use nothing but the best, the softest, everything is top notch here'. That's the exact response that I woke up to in my email this morning. There's no way something didn't happen inside that car wash. I've never had an issue here before. They take no accountability. They're impossible to deal with. Stay away from these clowns. Take the extra drive and go somewhere else, or your $24 car wash will cost you way more than that.
*Byram Car Wash gave the typical 'copy and paste' response as they did with every other review that posted about damage to their vehicle. Then stated, again, that the damage would happen to every car that went through that day, and they use the softest neo glide whatever. There was a posted review complaining about damage to their vehicle the same day as mine(yesterday) and occurred almost the same time. Odd, isn't it? They also only respond to reviews and emails. They won't answer the phone because they can't face the fact that they have faulty equipment. 🤔 Take accountability for...
Read moreIf I could give this place less than 1 star I would, especially after reading the owner's response to the issue. This place is a SCAM. I am also not the only person with the issue as clearly seen in the other negative reviews. They took my mother's credit card info and have been charging her monthly for the unlimited car wash without her consent. She has tried to cancel but she can't! She's tried to use the website portal and went to the website FAQs where it says to click "here" to fill out a form and cancel immediately. When she clicks the blue hyperlink it says page not found - sorry for the inconvenience. She went back to the car wash for help and they handed her a brochure to cancel. She is 73 years old, this should be illegal and they should be reported. They should be ashamed of themselves. I've tried emailing "customer service" and did not receive anything but an automated response. In response to the owner, the issue is SHE CANNOT CANCEL NO MATTER WHAT SHE TRIES. Your cancel anytime policy is a SCAM. You are quite rude and condescending, and you and your staff require customer service training. How unprofessional when running a small business. Contrary to what you may believe, your car wash is not the only one in the world. Get over yourself sir. Instead of posting snarky replies you should be trying to resolve the...
