Used their easy "pickup" feature today to order Halloween candy. The text notification notified me that they were out of 3 items, I decided to look for myself and literally found the items within 5 minutes.
I informed them of my discovery and asked to have my now completed order.
Not possible. They couldn't add the 3 "not in stock" items to my order.
They could cancel it and have me re-order all of my items since I paid using PayPal. It's the only way that I could still use PayPal (They have a feature I use).
Except their internet doesn't work well in the building and it was raining outside.
So after spending way too long messing with it, I just paid for everything using my debit card.
Not fun. I won't be doing it again, I thought it was for "convenience" and maybe it is if someone doesn't say the items you want to purchase are out of stock.
Walgreens should update their pickup system in case people like me walk in and FIND the "out of stock" items, 2 of which were literally in the front...
Read moreI stopped by the Cadillac Walgreens today to pick up a few things and they also have a FedEx package pickup and return which is really convenient. You give them a QR code and they print the label and take possession. It's a great service. I've been going there for years. I even got my flu shots there. It's really quick and convenient. Today I met a cashier named Nathaniel ( Nate ). Nathaniel really went out of his way to be helpful, friendly and courteous. The service he provided me with was top notch. It was that good old fashioned customer service that is so lacking today in most retail establishments. Nate not only made good eye contact but also took a couple moments just to let me know that he appreciates me and my business. Keep up the Great work Nathaniel !! p.s. Michelle not only helped me with my photos, she was patient, friendly, and smiled the whole time. She would be excellent at training your other staff. I usually find your front cashier's miserable. No smiles , no friendly gestures, not helpful. Michelle even signed me up for a rewards card, got a coupon for me to use, just amazing!!! I'm a business owner and would snatch her up in a heartbeat!!! Kudos...
