TopShelf Kicks is in my opinion the best sneaker store in New Jersey. They sell both new and used sneakers, as well as jerseys, other sports apparel and clothing. They also buy and trade the same. They have an eBay store that they sell on which has the in store inventory listed. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the selection in store, you can always look at the inventory on eBay and filter by size, new, used, etc.
I have been to the store multiple times. They have two sides, one with new sneakers and the other displaying used sneakers. I always end up leaving with multiple pairs of sneakers as they have a great selection of size 14 pairs. They will work with you on price and in my opinion, the prices are always fair compared to market value. I also sold a new pair of Jordan's once and they paid a fair price that I was happy with, working with me and giving me more in store credit because I purchased 3 new sneakers.
The atmosphere of the store is great on both sides. You can browse both the new and used side to get inspiration to add to your collection. They have Jordan's, Nike, New Balance and a wide variety of other brands. They have memorabilia and collectables through out the store which adds to the experience. There is plenty to look at to peak your interests and nostalgia.
The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. Every time I have visited, I had a pleasant experience. Aaron, Jordan, Berwin and others (sorry, I didn't catch your names or if I misspelled your names) are awesome. If you know what you are looking for, they will grab it for you fast so you can check out the sneakers and decide if you want to purchase them.
I discovered this store through the @TopShelfKicks YouTube channel which came on my algorithm once and I have been hooked ever since. They have content that shows a variety of things from them purchasing in the store, unboxing new sneakers, showing what others have purchased, purchasing at flea markets, comparing new releases of sneakers to previous releases, sneaker conventions and the random game of horse or pig, with the trash talking included. I enjoy this content because it appears genuine and shows the life of a small business owner. It's not the click bait type of content like this person tried to sell me fake sneakers, although you can see that happen organically on occasion. I just enjoy the content because it helps me get inspiration on what sneakers are out there as someone who is not a "sneaker-head".
Overall I would recommend visiting this store either in person or on the eBay store. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and attentive. Overall just great customer service. If you enjoy sneakers, I would also recommend checking out the...
Read moreThis reseller is like a hawk watching out for his review scores so they don't drop from 100% on eBay and from 5 stars from at his store location. He has a 5 star review at his store but if you click on the lowest review score you will see a bunch of 1star reviews and a 3 star review so I don't know how he has a 5 star review. All his 5 star reviews are from other resellers talking about how much money they made from selling his sneakers. Not very reassuring for buyers. I was sold a pair of Jordan 4 bread reimagined with a reddish Nike Air logo on the box when it's supposed to be orange. The box label was placed low on the box that it can easily be peeled. The only reason they passed eBay's authentication is because they didn't check them because he has a 100% review score on eBay. The sneakers don't have foot bed markings like they are supposed to and there is so many other things wrong with them. He didn't even try to give me an explanation he just kept saying they passed eBays authentication. I ordered the same model shoe a week before from eBay that didn't pass authentication. Some sellers put their business card in the box so the buyer knows they got the pair from the seller they bought it from. There is a Top Shelf Kicks logo Infront of every Top Shelf Kicks listing on eBay. Was there supposed to be a card with the Top Shelf Kicks logon in the box of the sneakers I bought? If not I can't change my review score. I am so depressed. I only make like $240 a week and the shoes came out to $350 something and there are listings for way lower on eBay. I picked top shelf kicks because I thought they were reliable. From what I learned now the higher the price of the shoe the more chance that the shoe is fake. The seller I bought from the week before that didn't pass authentication that pair came out to $383. eBay partner sellers have fair prices and are legit but they don't have anymore Jordan 4...
Read moreTSK is always keeping it real when u bring in some pairs to sell/trade. They are different than the typical reseller. In a good way. Always offering fair price quotes and they will be the first to tell u maybe u should sell your kicks on ebay or stockX yourself. Rather than lowball their customers. Alot of resellers disrespect their own customers by lowballing just to get more views. Super corny. I wish they were closer because I really want to go shopping inside the store. For now I will continue to support TSK from Seattle by going on the TSK E-bay site. Theres about 5 or 6 pairs Ive been looking at. I wear a size 13-14 so sometimes its hard for me to find the pairs I want. Im all over the place when it comes to what I like. Going to pull the trigger on a couple pairs this weekend. TSK to the Moon!!! Think Im going to NYC for NYE this year. Im gonna have to plan for one of the days to go check y'all put in person. There is one thing that Id like to mention to A. I think itd be cool if around the store u set up a few places on the floor to shoot your mini hoop and based on how hard the shot is you get a better discount. But you only get 1 shot for every hundred dollars yku spend. Or maybe only on the customers bday. But it has to actually be the day of the bday. Already been a customer and has to use the discount right then. Obviously some exclusions would be smart. Just a thought. I love basketball so any chance to shoot regardless of the situation. Ive been watching your flea market videos when dude thats going to college was working at the O.G store. I think Berwin had just started. If I ever make it over there tell B I got a vintage Jordan windbreaker from '89 that does not fit me anymore that has his name on it. I was 12 in '89. Lol. Try to add a picture...
