We enjoyed this park on a super hot day this summer. Social distancing was very easy. The trails are large, paved, and have ample benches to rest. There are also several garbage cans available (something I have not seen much during COVID times).

We spent a significant amount of time at the playground. There is a large playground area with rubber matting. The sections are pretty well divided for different age groups allowing kids to play more safely. Despite the amount of large trees, shade is sparse in the afternoon except for the area for ages 2-5. There are a lot of shaded benches in this area also.

If your child is intending to swing or use one of the other playground areas (especially the littler ones) I'd recommend bringing a blanket or something small to put in the swing for your child to sit on if it's a hotter day.

There are a lot of squirrels who are not really intimidated by people. Several got within 5 feet of us but they did not really bother anything. Just something to be aware of.

There is also a restroom next to the playground as well as a drinking fountain (with a bottle filler), both were open and operational the day we went.

Almost everyone we encountered was either wearing a mask or keeping a conservative distance. It was a very nice and...

Beautiful park with a relatively new playground. Playground has a section dedicated to smaller kids and one for bigger. The restrooms are surprisingly very clean, not just for a public restroom but for a restroom in general. Lots to do - peaceful path, stocked pond you can go fishing, pickleball and tennis courts, horseshoe and soccer ball. It never really gets crowded and there's lots of open grass to run around in. There are also picnic tables all throughout. Parking can be a pain on a beautiful day as it is primarily street parking. There is a tiny parking lot (maybe 4 -5 spaces) and this is where you can access the park directly from your car if you have stroller or handicapped. Otherwise, you can enter the park from other entry points but you would have to get there from your...

Very nice park that is well maintained. I haven't experienced the entire park, but the walking paths are paved. Playground is not near the road or parking area, so a short walk is needed in order to get there. Playground was clean and fully fenced around with one gate. It is directly across from the restroom facilities (open limited hours). Porta potties are available when facilities are closed. I didn't see a parking lot, but street parking is available in designated areas. Speed limit on the road is low, but does pose a concern whne loading children in & out of vehicles. No sidewalk along the road side of the park, so you have to walk in the road or in the grassy area before getting to a paved path within the park. Overall a very nice park and I would return...

I greatly enjoy walking the park; it's extraordinarily well designed, and well maintained. It's wonderful to watch the seasons develop in this lovely environment. One odd thing I've noticed is that the weathervane on the field house is set up backwards. The fieldhouse is built on an almost exact north-south axis, but the weathervane points "south" in the Brookside direction, when that is actually almost exactly the north. It's a bit strange to see the sun setting in what the weathervane calls "east"!

It's a great multipurpose park for the whole family with a lot of things to try for everyone. Well equipped and appropriate for all ages. There are spaces for tennis, baseball, hiking, playground with fun and interactive play tools, pull up bars for upper strength exercises for adults, great lawns for picnics and beautiful cherry blossoms scattered all around. Very beautiful place. Will definitely be visiting with the family again to explore further. The kids did not want to leave🙂
