The bagels were okay. The bagels weren't soft and chewy, the crust was on the soft side.In all honesty, I remembered them being better the first time I had them here. Not sure if recipe changed or my taste. I prefer a chewy and soft dough with a crunchy crust. If I get my bagel fresh in the morning and it is hot from the ovens, I am in heaven. The staff were friendly and quick but were speaking among themselves in Spanish in front of other customers, I speak Spanish and find this annoying if not necessary. They were talking about milk and coffee, sometimes it comes off as if they are talking about the customers.
The store was relatively clean, the holiday and special product (green bagels) were placed in trays on top of the counter without a cover and I find that strange considering the times we live in.
Also, a cash only business is a great deterrent for future business from me, they have an ATM in the front of the store for those...
   Read moreI rarely write reviews. So out of the gate, my kids are bagel experts and love their bagels. Staff rolls flat bagel dough out with a green mop handle in plain view around 8am. Staff conversations with each other take precedence over taking my order or preparing my food. They are not concerned with touching their face/nose and then my food without gloves during a pandemic. I put up with this a few times and then was too disgusted to go back. If this is the mindset in plain view, I have to wonder what goes on in the back. Business must be good.
