Although very friendly and helpful my 13yr old got a bearded dragon & getting supplies was told he needed this UVB light bulb for $22.99 got it home it flickers on & off..then stays off..after trying 2 light fixtures I called the store (living 22miles away) asking if I could have someone buy another one & I will return this one on Monday when going back to Owosso (so they wouldn't think I was trying to scam them) She informed me they don't return or exchange light bulbs it's on the bottom of the receipt.. How are you to know this before you buy?? & what good is it to know printed on the receipt after? I would of checked Pets Plus (our usual store but since the reptile was bought there we went there) Not a happy mom, she did suggest I call the company on the box to see if they could send a new one! The company said that is very unusual it's mostly 30 days..but after I send a video & copy of receipt!... ugh just FYI if you go there on the return policy of your purchases! However, they lost a customer in us & I feel this business will not...

Took my 9 year old son in about 4 weeks ago to check out crusted geckos, well he ended up falling in love with the chameleons, which I decided would be an amazing Christmas gift. After calling the week before Christmas to find out they had sold out and would hopefully get more on Christmas Eve which was perfect. Arrival didn't happen as the Amazing team thought it would so once my son found out he was getting one he would beg me every day to call and see if any chameleons had made their way to to the store, after a full week of calling and employees who never once got annoyed with me calling daily, sometimes twice ( never know if that afternoon shipment might have one) our New Years Day pet arrived. Todd was so helpful, talked more to my son about the care of the new pet then me, which I truely appreciated and got us all set up with just the necessary items to begin. 75% of the reptiles are now kept on aspen chip/wood chip. Not suitable for crested geckos, leopard geckos, or quite frankly anything other than the snakes.

When I asked why they’re kept that way, employee said “just what we put all animals on”…

I completely understand not everyone is a reptile expert, but a simple google search can provide better media options than wood/aspen shavings.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Over the last year I’ve bought easily 30+ animals here, ranging from tarantulas, to Savannah monitor, and even a few Halloween crabs. And not once, have I received an ill animal or an animal not in amazing Heath. Employees are awesome, always great to stand around and chat with them when I’m in.
