Champion Cleaners — Local services in Calera

Over the years Champion has really improved greatly. A few years back before the text alerts. I constantly had issues with pick up door to door service. Although I love this option. If they didn't pick up it made life really difficult for a busy working woman that need clean pressed uniforms. I must say after the text alert. My laundry pick up is very prompt and timely. They have always done great work with the cleaning and pressing. Their customer service has always been awesome. Mr David Whitehurst will respond personally to issues that are not resolve with staff in the store. I did not have this service in Homewood but after moving to Alabaster 14yrs ago. Commuting back to Bham for work took an hour of my day away. Not having to go to the cleaners have been a true blessing. I do feel the cost for PRESS ONLY is a bit expensive but for the convenience of the pickup and door to delivery I dont stess it too much. Overall great company. Customer Service with frontline staff ( Connie)and delivery staff is always Great! Especially Mr. Billy. But the store manager Rick have some room for improvement. His tone and response to issues or concerns are a bit abrasive. In life we all expect business to make changes. But it is certainly a way to make your customers aware of the changes. I don't use this business as much as I use to mainly because of previous encounters. Quick dry cleaning needs only.. No more monthly uniform cleaning bill for me. 100% Customer service is...

Place could use some cleaning. Washer machines had debris in between doors, floors were full of dirt, lints, coins and trash, washer machine took 43 minutes to wash for about $3. Didn't rinse out all the water out of the clothes. Dryer weren't that great either 25 cents for 3 minutes about $3 for 30 minute drying time for clothes that were not as dry.

Compared to other laundromats, I would have given a 3 stars if the place was a bit clean. 2 stars because for the price you're paying here for self laundry service, it's probably better to go somewhere else to save a bit more money.

Could use an attendant around, during my 2 hour visit not one employee was in sight. Could be the reason why it's in the shape it was when I arrived.

But!!! Kudos for being 24 hours!

Definitely will be back to try out the dry cleaning service as for a 4.8 rating as...

This was my first time ever having clothes dry cleaned. Everyone inside was so friendly, patient, and informative about the process of dry cleaning. After I went back to collect my clothes and returned home, I noticed there were some spots that were missed. I called them and they encouraged me to bring them back to be checked again at no charge. After dropping them off a 2nd time and collecting them a 2nd time, the stains were gone! Even if the stains could not be removed, because some of these clothes were purchased at the thrift store, I still would have given 5 stars, but they went out of there way to help with the stains at no charge; thus, I cannot give more than 5 stars, but I wish I could! Bless you all at Champion Cleaners and thank you for making my first and second visits positively...
