The staff at Pete's Music City are terrific ambassadors for their town. I was passing through on my way home from North Georgia when I decided to stop for a break from driving. A nearby coffee shop was closed, so I popped into Pete's to ask about an alternative. Their suggestion turned out to be wonderful. This small business helping another small business by helping a traveler is the essence of American free enterprise. I'll remember this kindness and recommend them to you.

I recently went here with my nephew to pick out a good acoustic guitar. I suspect that Pete’s Music City has kept a lot of people from falling into depression over the decades that Calhoun has transformed from a small, quiet town to a big, noisy I-75 strip mall. It sure did help me during my years there. Pete is the beating heart of Gordon County – he deserves to be recognized for that.

I recently went here with my nephew to pick out a good acoustic guitar. I suspect that Pete’s Music City has kept a lot of people from falling into depression over the decades that Calhoun has transformed from a small, quiet town to a big, noisy I-75 strip mall. It sure did help me during my years there. Pete is the beating heart of Gordon County – he deserves to be recognized for that.

There aren’t enough stars on this review page to adequately give credit to the professionalism and service that Brett & his mom and dad & Eric & Brandon provide for their customers…. 1000% top notch, first class people…. Best music store I’ve ever been to, hands down…. Brett and his mom and dad are EXACTLY what small businesses should be…. They treat you like you are family and Eric is extremely patient with an OCD guy like me…. Eric and Brett do NOT stop until you are satisfied and that is VERY RARE in this day…. They have set up 2 guitars for me and I just dropped off 2 more to be set up and one of those two has EXTREME sentimental value to me and I would NEVER trust anyone with it but the staff at Pete’s Music City…. Also, Brandon always has a smile on his face and a very cordial, uplifting attitude…. I’ll give them ALL 10 stars...

Great place great people great prices... A refreshing throwback to the days before online , and major chain music stores. The Cochrans mean so much more to their community than probably even they realize. Local business always needs our support. And these guys offer alot in return. Every now and then I'm fortunate enough to meet people like the ones at Pete's music city. And if ever anyone has found their calling, it's them. . There's nowhere else like this. With honest opinions and answers. Also great repairs at better than fair prices. Not to mention a huge inventory. If they don't have it bret...

Great group of guys. only complaint is that one of the younger employees misinformed me of a serial on my guitar, i was thinking it was a 2000 Yamaha, come to find out it was a rare 1985 "Dove" Yamaha. Pete and his team did an amazing restoration on it (it came in with broken bridge, broken nut, no strings, and a broken tuning key and a few busted brackets. 200$ later, i have a priceless fully functioning guitar that i don't ever wanna get rid of. Pete the owner is awesome, really appreciates the instruments he sells, and has extensive knowledge of...
