Oh My! the food is awesome not good, not great but straight out awesome. The appetizer fried calamari was the best we ever had crispy flavorful and the size and thickness of a fish stick. The Burben burger with fries was a meal for 2 and a mouth full flavor. The fries were perfectly made lightly crispy and melted in your mouth. But the creme de la creme my girl-friends pot roasted sandwich with onion rings. Trust me when I say wow neither one of us care for red meat (were not vegan nor vegetarian) the meat melted in my mouth before I laid it on my tongue incredibly soft and flavorful along with the mushrooms. Even the onion rings were as crispy as the fries, incredible meal. Price above average but well priced Delicious and very good portioned. I love the design and outdoor spaces of this shopping mall.My usual haunt is Noah’s Bagels where I grab a fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee and a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. I adore the group of four or five retired men who meet daily for coffee and always have a smile and a hello. From there, I wander over to Bob Kildee’s to look at the pretty clothing and Brighton items. I steer clear of See’s Candies, but it’s there if you can afford the calories. The Bread Basket is hands down the best and most expensive bakery in town. There is a bookstore, a pizza place, a jeweler, a Thai restaurant and Adolfo Grill, Ralph’s, Taco Bell and a few other stores. The Starbucks has nice outdoor a fountain. Run out of money? There's a hidden surprise in this plaza. A shop that's been there for decades and I had never even thought of going into... frankly I thought it was some lady boutique or kids clothes store of some sort... I was really surprised at what I saw... basically my own closet... things I usually have to venture to other cities far away to buy is right here at home and I never knew it... Reyn Spooner, Tommy Bahama, Pendleton... all the good quality men's brands that you won't find at Target. The place is called Bob Kildee Clothing. It's my new go-to place for casual apparel.
