Called Roses and Rainbows to order a funeral arrangement for my mother in law. I didn't give her but one days notice before the viewing, and I was ordering from 1400 miles away..I talked to the owner, Sylvia, and told her what I would like to have. She assured me that she could do it and at a very reasonable price. I asked the price of the delivery fee and to my surprise, she told me that she did not charge delivery on funeral pieces, because it "just wasn't right" --I thought maybe I had misunderstood, but no, I was assured that I had heard correctly. Still taken aback by that, we discussed colours and she assured me that for less than I was able to spend, that she would make it beautiful. Boy, did she EVER! The piece was AMAZING~more than I could have hoped for, and it was delivered to the funeral home before the family arrived for visitation.. I've never seen that kind of compassion from a florist before, its usually about the $$ with cheap filler and decent work. I had my first experience with Roses and Rainbows today. I was sending flowers to my son's girlfriend for her birthday it was to another state. I was hung up on and when I called back someone else answered and she was so rude. I simply had asked who was going to be delivering them. That was a question that the person giving the surprise bday party had asked me, simply so she could look out for them. I was told when I asked that they were not going to tell me that. Oh and did I mention the total was 77.00. Needless to say I sure wish I had everyone else experience I had heard about on here. WiIl never use them again. I was coming from out of state for a funeral and called for a funeral arrangement that an online florist told me couldn't be done because there wasn't enough time (I needed it delivered the next day). I called and talked to Sylvia (who was EXTREMELY sweet and patient) and gave her the other florist's arrangement number and when she called me back, she was able to do the same arrangement a little larger than the other florist for much less.
