The owner came across as very professional when I first spoke with him. He gave me a clear quote, explained drive time, and was great at returning calls and texts. I really thought we were in good hands. Unfortunately, the actual movers he sent out were a completely different story.

When they arrived, they looked either hungover or just not interested in working. At $145 an hour, the least they could do is stay hydrated and get to work. We asked them to move a very simple list of items: 3 TVs, 3 beds, 3 dressers, and 2 heavy boxes. With three movers and only one small flight of stairs, this should have easily been completed in two hours. Instead, we had to follow them around just to make sure things were being done.

By the time 1.5 hours had passed, we realized the U-Haul wasn’t even loaded—they had just left items sitting on the lawn. My fiancé and I ended up loading much of it ourselves. They did move a few things (the TVs, a bed, two boxes, and two dressers), but we ended up handling the rest.

The biggest issue: they packed our two large TVs in their van, which seemed like a good safety precaution at the time. One of those TVs—a 75-inch—was in perfect working order before they loaded it. When it was unloaded and plugged in, the screen was cracked.

I called the company multiple times and texted the movers, but no one ever returned my calls. The owner, who was so responsive at first, has not taken any accountability for the damage his employees caused.

The owner might be professional, but he is not the one doing the moving. His team broke our 75-inch TV, left us doing half the work ourselves, and then ignored us afterward.

If they don’t return our calls soon, we’ll have no choice but to pursue...

Do you ever wonder why a business only has 5 star reviews. Its because they are paying customers for them. The owners of this business are the nastiest people. They are not good movers. They broke our stuff, and then they tried to intimate us into letting it go. We are not. We are going to court. Dropped a box of clothes in a slush puddle ruined the dresses. Said they not at fault. We should have put clothes in a waterproof box or bag. We'll update after court. UPDATE: There are so many people who know me and are dm about the owners of this business. They have turned me in to yelp, trying to get my reviews removed. 1 person who dm me said that they were on Gladstone St in Campbell ohio the other night. And that a black van backed out of a driveway very fast right in front of them. They had to slam on their brakes to keep from hitting the van. They beeped at the black van, and then 2 people got out and started screaming at them. The man on the passenger side was running to the car. Until he realized that there were two men in the car, they just cut off. The car at this point went around the van, and there it was. It is a Steel Valley Moving Van. The owners of this business can, of course, say that this never happened. But anyone who has lived by them knows the truth. PLEASE DON'T...

OMG OMG OMG! Why didn’t I hire this company before? Don’t ask. These people were so friendly and went above and beyond to help me. And trust me I was NOT super organized. My husband recently passed at the young age of 37 and I am not only disabled but have been so depressed it’s been so hard to do much. If I was moving someone as unorganized as me I probably wouldn’t have as big of a smile as these guys! And every so often one would remind me I have nothing to worry about it’s going to be ok and they were there to help. They made an experience I had been dreading enjoyable. And when they left I did some number crunching and found by the time I found people to help me move rent uhaul pay for gas and drive back and fourth as much as I did it enddd up costing me about $200 to go with them. Soooooooo worth it!!! They were so carful with all of my furniture and valuables. I absolutely undoubtedly recommend them and will use them again in a heart beat should I have...
