Called Bud, the store manager, regarding two purchases with which I was displeased. The cypress mulch blend I bought (4 bags @ $6 each for 2 cu ft) had been spread by my son-in-law before I realized there was more blend than cypress. He mumbled something about distribution chain issues but didn't even say he was sorry for my disappointment. I bought a Sylvania brand fluorescent bulb last year to replace one that was in the apartment when I move in 5 years prior. It was for a storage closet and I rarely need the light to get what I'm looking for so I would say it burned no more than 9 hours before it burned out. Again, his response was "they don't make things like they used to" without expressing any concern for my disappointment. According to the research I did, that bulb should have lasted 9000 hours. I’m here to tell you that excellent customer service is not dead! Even when my prickly hubby was refusing extra help they were kind and eventually he relented. And the added benefit of not having to deal with Lowe's or Depot is well worth any slightly higher price.
