I recently purchased a to go order from here. I ordered rice, dip, salsa and two small bags of chips. I was charged I left and noticed I was missing a small bag of chips. The chips are $1.25 they charged me $2.50 which was correct only I didn’t receive a bag. I went back in and was told needed to pay .50 more because take out order are more. I proceeded to state the prices what I ordered and just wanted my other bag of chips. The gentleman was yelling at me telling me to not come back if I wasn’t happy. I yelled back you are over charging me. I laid my .50 on the counter got my other bag of chips and left. What terrible customer service. It wasn’t about the .50 but about how I was treated. I was mad and did argue but how do you just change prices on someone? El Campesino’s gives you free order of chips with purchase even if you’re just ordering rice and dips. Went on a weekday around 7pm. There were only two servers, 3 tables, one being a party of like 6. A gentleman asked for our drink order and then left. 30 seconds later a lady asked the same and we stated our order was taken. She then comes back 5 or so minutes later and said “he’s busy. I’m your server. what’s your order?” We gave her the order. She brought chips, salsa and queso. We had no napkins on the table. It took 45 minutes to receive our food. Then we had to wait at least 5 minutes for silverware to be able to eat our food. Food was lukewarm. People were coming and dropping things off at the table, like queso, and taking it away but leaving chips. Taking the salsa bowl but dropping off more salsa in the cup. Our first experience here was great, so we returned for our anniversary dinner and was severely disappointed. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place to anyone. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Wish I could post pic because I took one of the "manager" and two young girls sitting in booth while we had no drinks, No chips, no sauce for tacos and didn't even bother to check on us once after bringing our food. We actually called the restaurant from our table and asked for sauce, but then got no refills still so I got up and got my own soda refills because they continued to ignore us even after we called. Then the "manager" continued to let us know he's only the manager when no one else is there and that they were really busy- ( ummmm we were the only table!)
