For the past year, I have attended the 1st Friday of every month for the Southern Honor Wrestling promotion (which officially has the roster of the greatest wrestling talent, EVER). Recently we attended the Back to the 80’s New Year’s Eve Party, featuring The Guardians of the Jukebox (an amazing 80’s cover band featuring members of Stuck Mojo, Fozzy, and Yacht Rock). I’ve seen half of the 80’s musicians covered, live. None of them performed their own songs as near studio perfect (live) as Guardians of the Jukebox! The whole night was presented as a throw back to the 80’s! There were 80’s arcades, artwork, and themed areas for photo ops (including a boxing ring with Rocky and Clubber Lang standees). Everyone was dressed in 80’s garb; or dressed as their favorite 80’s Pop Culture Icon. I saw Chewbacca, Macho Man Randy Savage, a Ghost Buster, Freddy Mercury, Madonna, Richard Simmons, KISS, Jason Voorhese, Hall & Oates, Marty McFly, and so many more!    Read moreI had a great time at the New Year's Eve "Back to the 80's" party! I loved seeing all the costumes. The music was off the chain. I was happy the venue was spacious enough to spread out and dance. Loved that there was alcohol available if I wanted it but it still felt "family friendly" enough for us to bring our special needs son to a non-smoking event. The childcare was a nice touch even though I didn't need it. The crowd was fun and danced all night long without being obnoxiously drunk. Oh..and I LOVED the free parking! I can't wait for the next event...80's Prom in March. I am already...
