I hate paper bags! I want to know when in the hell we can kiss these paper bags goodbye and get the plastic ones back? I mean really of all the things that cause problems life has enough problems it's hard enough being physically disabled you have to carry heavy bags any amount of distance especially upstairs or long driveway and their paper at new slash people this is Oregon where it rains frequently making everything wet paper tears even easier when it's wet and then I find out you're charging for paper bags when you shoot all only be charging for plastic which would mean of course raise would not be able to charge for bags since they haven't carried plastic in over a year. My advice get plastic bags back . I mean do you honestly do you guys honestly believe that those paper bags even ever make it in the front door intact I'm curious because last night like every time I'm dealing with those bags they're shredded and handles tear off. As far as my grocery experience goes I am quite pleased and it seems as though they've come down in their prices a little bit at least which is nice cuz...
Read moreThis is the most ridiculously high priced store in the area for its size. Will be glad when Grocery Outlet gets in here, maybe it will put them out if business. Ray's are known for going into areas where there's little or no competition, then people who are already struggling on food stamps or welfare are all but forced to shop there, because they can't afford to be driving for miles out of town to shop. In my eyes they are pathetic. I make it a point to ask employees and even their managers in different aread if they buy their groceries from Ray's. NONE of them said they would pay those kind of prices, except maybe for one or two small items. I hope you're hearing this Ray's, your prices are exorbitant to the point of greed. When I complained to the head office, they claim they don't have the buying power of Sherm's Markets. Excuse me, Ray's operate 38 stores, while Sherm's has 4. And there's no comparison how much better Sherm's prices are in comparison. It's not hard to see why Ray's have now gone from having 65 stores...
Read moreI stopped in to deposit some plastic bottles. The machines were all down and there was a customer already waiting so they've been there about 20 minutes. I didn't notice that the plastic bottle machine was working so I deposited the few I had that were plastic and when I tried to enter the store to cash a little 90 cent ticket both customers in front of me at full carts. I lost without cashing in the ticket and now I've been told I don't cash it the day that I create the ticket it's worthless. I am now out the 90 cents. I guess don't go to Ray's on sundays?
Am I able to bring the $0.90 ticket and some other time or is it void as I've been told...
