I try to support small business and enjoy Halloween, so three friends and I decided on Saturday to go to Farmer Mike’s. We ordered tickets online (the website said they were cheaper) for the Haunted Corn Maze at 2:30 pm. We got there at 2:00 pm, and when we presented our tickets, we were informed that the haunted maze we paid for didn’t start until that night. I explained that we paid for the 2:30 time slot and nowhere on our ticket did it say that it started later. We had a Halloween party that night and would not be able to come back. We asked if we could possibly get a refund because we paid to go through the maze at 2:30 just to find out that it is not available until that night. We were told no. As 4 adults, we were only able to do the hayride and family maze. I was under the impression that a pumpkin and sunflowers were included with our tickets online. They were not, but I had already picked the flowers and pumpkins so I paid for them anyways. The lady checking me out then pointed out that I was supposed to use cutters for the sunflowers. No one ever told us and there were no signs. Just for our tickets we paid $37.98 per person. We never would’ve bought the tickets or gone if the website had stated the maze didn’t start until night time. The website is completely misleading, and the staff is not helpful. We left disappointed and frustrated.

Fall Funfest is a waste of time and money. Sat waiting for the hay ride driver to get back from break. Everyone got off after 20 minutes and no driver. $8 per person to see 2 old bounce houses, a pile of sand, a lame straw maze, a ridiculous "music wall," and a climbing wall made out of single shipping pallet. Pay up to $39 per person if you want a pumpkin and to walk through the corn maze. 30 seconds to pay for the $8 per person wrist band then the clerk with attitude flips around the credit card machine asking to add a 20% tip. A few overpriced food trucks, you park in a muddy field. They offer flower picking, they loan you a garden shear. Then, only after your kids spend 20 minutes collecting some flowers, you return the clippers and are told each stem is $1. This is an antiquated overpriced understaffed attraction. Don't waste your time.

Well I can already tell you that the owner doesn't give a crap about feedback as I personally emailed him to tell him about an employee's sub par unprofessionalism and nothing was done about it. Not even a complimentary strawberry. He totally dropped the ball. Guess Mike doesn't care about customer service across the board or all levels. I would like to go back in cooler weather because it was a decent time picking strawberries but I'm iffy about it.

The security team did an incredible job. They apprehended young boys armed with pepper spray and pocketknives. I felt exceptionally safe knowing they were thoroughly checking for any potential threats. The black security guard was particularly exceptional and relatable. His humor was infectious. It’s unbelievable that they assigned him the task of moving cars. He truly belongs in front, interacting with people. He was the best security guy there and incredibly funny.

The red beard and blonde hair made a perfect pair for taking tickets. They did their job exceptionally well and quickly, so I recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to avoid any delays. And also you have to do it online if you’re gonna do the haunted, they told us because of the signature which I understand and I totally agree with that. My family was really thirsty so we went to the market. They were so nice so many good options on the drinks. The cashiers were so amazing. We left amazing tip because they did an amazing job. Also, they told us about a mini pumpkin that comes with our package because we got 13 tickets which everyone gets their own mini pumpkin which I was happy with. We visited the hayride, and the kind staff helped my mom up and down the stairs. I didn’t expect them to go above and beyond, but they were incredibly helpful. Afterward, they brought her wheelchair right next to the hayride.

However, the staff at the kid-friendly maze was a bit disappointing. They were both distracted on their phones and gave us incorrect information about the flowers. The cashier had mentioned that sunflowers cost $1 per stem, but the staff told us they were free. This was clearly not true.

Our teenager then went into the haunted corn maze and came out crying, just like other kids and adults. The staff at the maze asked if they wanted a picture right next to the sign that said they had “survived the haunted corn maze in Farmer Mike’s Fort Myers.” I appreciated that gesture. The line wasn’t as long as I had anticipated, which was a relief.

After all that, we went to Boba, where the staff was incredibly friendly. They helped my kids and parents pick out some drinks. There were a variety of food options available, which I loved. I wish there had been a few more food vendors, but the staff before we left were so welcoming that we got to meet Farmer Mike and the manager of the market. He was very friendly and welcoming to my family, and he even gave us a fist bump on the way out.

Highly recommend for a...

Never experienced such rude workers and negative atmosphere. I was directed to a lady working at a register for some questions i had, i was told she had answered to. Bedford asking my questions somone in my group politely asked to purchase a popsicle. To this she replied, “what the hell else would you do, that is how it works.” Then continued to be extremely rude and when I asked my question she told me i must find somone by the name of celia, because she would have answers. (i was being redirected again) I reply asking who celia was and where to find her, and she treated me as i was dumb for not knowing who this was. After finding her for myself, i politely asked my question, and yet again i am treated with attitude and as if i was a bother. Durring this conversation a male worker approaches us and tells us the lady at the register says we are “rude as hell”. I politely corrected him, and explained she was very rude and out of pocket to us. He then mumbled some more vulgar language u def his breath. Also, durring haunted walk i witnessed a worker from outside the house use very agressive and inappropriate language to yell at the man infront of me, who was lost and trying to find his party, while she did this she stood infront of me blocking me from getting through. Overall, the workers rude and inconsiderate actions made for a bad night, and the words that left their mouths did not make up a family friendly environment like...

It was an incredible experience. The parking attendant was incredibly helpful. He did an excellent job, and I managed to park without any issues. The lady with blonde hair was the most friendly person I’ve ever met. She was understanding that I didn’t know where the tickets were. She yelled, but that’s her job, and I get it. She apologized for it. The security guards were the nicest I’ve ever met for security guards. They made me laugh and me feel safe. The manager was amazing. She helped me get my scissors for the sunflower and spoke Spanish, which made me feel like I was at home. The sunflowers were so cheap—one dollar stems! That’s a pretty good deal. The hayride was amazing. The weight was a little iffy, but he was on break and apologized, which I understand because he’s there all day. He also spoke Spanish, which I appreciated. The lady running the ride was also amazing. She spoke Spanish and we had a great conversation before the guy got there. I got lost and Farmer Mike kindly offered to take me to the haunted maze. The haunted corn maze in Fort Myers is way better than Bonita’s. It’s not a two-hour wait to get into the maze like Bonita’s, which I love, and it’s way scarier. While leaving, the cashiers told me that there was free mini pumpkins per ticket, which I loved. This place made me feel like I was at home and safe.

Thank you so much farmer Mike for...
