What a lovely first experience in Osteria Celli last night. Glad I came a bit earlier, right after they opened as this cozy family Italian restaurant filled up pretty fast. Truly, I’m not surprised as everything from atmosphere to service to culinary experience was superb. I started with a nice glass of refreshing Sauvignon Blanc while awaiting the first course, Lumache (large snails baked in the oven w herb garlic butter, served w crusty bread). It was fun to watch Chef Marco performing his magic in the open concept kitchen. The appetizer portion was very generous yet decadent delicious. The chefs/owners lovely wife Tajh was assisting the Guests at the front of the house and made great suggestions on my entree. I went with Paccheri pasta with blush sauce with large juicy shrimp, dusted with Parmesan cheese , glass of nice Italian Sangiovese to accompany. It was amazing to say the least. The whole staff seemed like a family and worked hard to take care of all the Guests. Thank you for having me , I ll be definitely back for another delightful experience at Osteria Celli.

Me and my family were in town for visit. We came to this restaurant because of online reviews and it didn’t disappoint. We were a party of 5 and we got three appetizers and four entrees. The olives tapenade is amazing! That was a preview of what was coming! We ordered the beef carpaccio, the mussels in white wine and the snails as appetizers. The three dishes were delicious. For entrée we order the Linguine al granchio, the cavatelli, the eggplant and the gnocchi. The pasta is homemade and is really good! We have to say that all the dishes were amazing. The pasta were cook perfectly al dente, we loved all of them. But the gnocchi was the best gnocchi we ever had, it was fluffy and not dense at all. It was just the perfect consistency. Overall the restaurant is clean and following covid 19 procedures. We saw the waitress wearing mask all the time and cleaning as she goes, washing her hands after taking the empty finished dishes, also cleaning and disinfecting the menus after we used them. Very happy with the experience there! Amazing food and service!

Very slow service. It took forever to get the check, the dessert we ordered was out and instead of the server asking us for a different option she came out with some orange cake. We were dissatisfied with that and asked for tiramisu. I also saw our server cutting bread and making drinks. I can’t believe she had to serve all those tables and cut bread and serve drinks on top of it. This restaurant should hire someone to do these additional bartending activities. We would have definitely ordered another bottle of wine for the table but because we weren’t asked we didn’t. I asked the server what the specials were and she said they were on the chalk board, no one at the table was able to read the chalk board, then she said most people take a photo with their phone. So I had to stand up, move to the middle of the restaurant and took the photo then sit down and pass my phone around. Excellent octopus, branzino was amazing!

Visited on 4/8, have been here several times and one of my favorite places to go with family/friends. Unfortunately we will never go back due to poor business operation from the owner Marco. Sat down for dinner and after 10 min was presented with a gift of bottle of wine and 4 glasses. We asked are you sure this is for us, she said yes are you Craig? We said yes, who is this from, she stated it’s from Tony. We said are you sure is this is for us? We thought maybe from the owner since we go there often. They said let me check, came back she said yes it’s for you the owner said from Tony. We thought okay maybe they got the name Tony wrong and it was maybe from a friend Terry. They must have noticed their mistake during the meal and charged us for the bottle. We questioned why we are charged and they said they made a mistake. Would not remove the bottle of wine from the bill and said they would take 50% off. We were shocked and appalled, this is not how you run a business. You made a mistake and you should take care of the $20 bottle of wine. Are bill is over $300 each time we are there. I would not recommend this restaurant any longer. Being in the business and a former business owner this was a very simple resolution to keep great business. Very unprofessional and disappointed.

Here is a follow up to your response…. This is not what happened what so ever. We were told several times it was a gift, we said several times are you sure?? The server said yes several times. Believe me I don’t need a free bottle of wine when I work with wine. Your price on the wine is $20 but I don’t care if it was $100. You don’t do that to a guest who has spent thousands at your restaurant. You dont tell someone it’s a gift several times and then take it back when you give them the bill. Own up to your mistake instead of being a coward. You are an embarrassment to this community to do business like this. Just for the record you made a fool out of yourself by having your wife do your dirty work with trying to apologize for your behavior and horrible business manor. Your response is exactly how you...

We are a young couple from out of town and went here last year on a whim and after trying the meatballs appetizer knew we had to come back again while on vacation this year for our special occasion dinner on our last night here, we were sorely disappointed by the service. Our server whose name I cannot remember, (she had medium length blonde hair and a bit of an accent and didn't seem to speak English well), who appeared to be the hostess, took over five minutes before even seating us when the restaurant was only about a quarter full on a Thursday night. She then took almost ten minutes before she even came back to take our drink orders, and then proceeded to service several other tables (of senior citizens) before bringing us our drinks which consisted of a water and a sprite (which she didn't disclose was 3.50 per glass, prices were not on the menu, and it wasn't even a full can of soda). When she finally brought our drinks we ordered two appetizers and two entrees. The appetizers came and were half eaten by the time she got around to bringing out the bread and dipping spices which should have been there when our drinks came. We were otherwise underwhelmed by the quality of our dishes. The food did not meet our expectations based on the prices charged.

Edited to add: we really felt like our waitress was catering to the tables with senior citizens and prioritized serving them over us, possibly because she assumed...

Was really looking forward to this restaurant because of the great reviews. Very disappointed. When I arrived to meet my husband, there were five older men smoking right outside the front entrance and they were very sloppy looking. I went inside and it was extremely loud! I was thinking of sitting at the bar but there were dirty dishes everywhere. I walked out, met my husband in the parking lot and since we were both hungry went back in. There was one table that looked like maybe we had a chance to hear each other. We were told someone wanted that table so we decided to leave. The waitress ( who was very sweet) then told us we could have it. Didn't quite understand that but I was grateful. We ordered wine which came promptly. We ordered the grilled octopus since it got great reviews. It was literally rubber. I could not even cut a piece let alone chew it. Waitress apologized and quickly took it away and didn't charge us. Pasta was very good. Chef offered us a cannoli since the appetizer was so bad. It was very good . I won't be going back to this restaurant . The noise level alone is horrendous . You cannot have a conversation at all. The food was good but not fabulous. This place just seemed to...
