I have been wanting to try this place for several weeks now bc it is relatively close to me. Got a Chicago beef 1/2 wet (which I asked if was possible bc it was for my 13 yo son), cheesesteak no mushrooms with wiz, fries, Mac salad, a brownie and an Arizona iced tea. The Chicago beef was not dipped. The beef was dry but serviceable. The buns for the sandwiches did not really hold up. Lacking flavor all around. I added more mayo and ground pepper and some pickled jalapeños to the cheesesteak. Brownie was good and the fries were okay (per my child as I didn't get any). Disappointed. The person that took my order said they had been there 2 weeks. It sounded like they understood the order. We, at the time, were the only patrons in the building. It was after 430pm but before 5pm. I'm struggling to find reason for the lack of quality of food for the price. I may try again in case my experience was a fluke but I feel a minimum can be expected for an establishment that touts having offerings from some of the three best sandwich cities in the country. Unfortunate. It was a to go order. Food was acceptable temperature when eaten at home. Fries needed salt(again per my kid, I...

Decided to try this place for the first time after reading other reviews. Walked in and was greeted promptly by the owner. He made several suggestions to our sandwiches and also asked if we wanted to add a side for only $.99 which I said yes. I got two sandwiches plus an order of fries and coleslaw to go. Five minutes later the sandwiches came out in the bag and we’re handed to me. As I approached the door I looked in the bag and realized I didn’t have the sides. I went back to the owner and told him I didn’t get my fries and coleslaw . He said that I did not order them and he did not charge me and that’s why I did not receive them. I left puzzled and checked at home on my Apple Pay. I paid $26.82. The sausage was $9.95 and meatball was $11.85. Clearly even with tax I paid for the sides. I probably would be back to try other sandwiches but will get a receipt. I know it seems like a fuss over two dollars but it’s just a...

I only came because the sonic in the parking lot wasn't answering their car hops. Thought I'd give this place a try. Doubt I'll ever be back. Food was trash. The man at the counter bragged about how his Chicago beef was soooo much better than 3 city pizzerias so already the bar was set pretty high... The gardener is store bought not fresh made like 3 cities first of all. I ordered a chicago dog for my son, he served me a plane hotdog with no toppings and I had to go back and ask what was with the plane hot dog I ordered a chicago dog. Dude said he'd never seen a kid eat one before so he thought we didn't actually want it. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, it was mid at best. Theres a mexican spot in the plaza at the other side called dose amigos that is a much better purchase than this place. Or if you want real chicago check out 3 City pizzeria. This spot is wack, thoroughly read all the reviews before wasting...

Ok, I’ve tried many who claim to be legit. I can honestly say, no one really comes close. This place is changing the game, and they should be recognized for it. All of their supplies are coming in from the corresponding areas that they represent; Chicago, New York and Philly. As a Philly native, you will absolutely want to live here. The Amarosos rolls are such a treat. You cannot compete with the perfect bite from that delicious schuylkill river flavored roll. The sliced ribeye seasoned nicely and the onions/meat/wiz/roll ration was on point. My only complaint, which is not a deal breaker, is price. I wish it was either twice the size or half the price. But that authenticity was worth paying for.
