I got a digital gift card from using my fetch rewards for this business. I got the gift card on October 24th and tried to use it. When I went to pay they did not have the scanner to scan it. So I had to pay out of pocket. He assures me they will have it working in 2 weeks. I go back 3 weeks later and ask if it’s working he said yes. When I go to pay he can’t get it to work. This time he lets me have it for free since it was his mistake. I go back there today December 8th, and I ask if it works. This time it’s a lady and she isn’t really friendly. She tells me that it doesn’t work and that it “takes time” like it hasn’t been a month and a half basically at this point. I’ve finally decided to just give it away to a family member as I’m tired of walking in there and paying for my stuff with cash or being turned away for something they should have already. It’s unfortunate I used my fetch points for this already. And honestly the ice cream wasn’t that good. But the guy (maybe the owner/manager) was the only friendly person I encountered on all my wasted...
Read moreSooo happy I found this little gem!! Stopped in on the way to see my niece at Golisano Hospital, I was actually ordering Chinese food and came across this place that I had no idea was even here. I was lucky enough to meet the owners Tony and Jill, Tony asked how far I was traveling and I told him right down the road to Golisano Hospital. I told him that we found out this past Monday that she is battling Burkitt Lymphoma - she is actually kicking its ass to say the least! He pulled out a beautiful ice cream cake and had is helper Maryanne write "YOU GOT THIS!". They also told me that they are included in a benefit with Golisano Hospital. That says a lot - they have only been in business a short while and they are already making a HUGE impact to the local community. I will send EVERYONE to this store, I can not tell you how much we all appreciated the gratitude and humbleness of these amazing people!! Thank you Jill, Tony and Maryanne! the ice cream was delicious!! You will see us...
Read moreI recently visited an old middle/high school friend who moved to Ft. Myers about 15 years ago. We're from Brooklyn New York and we often hung out at the Carvel store on Ocean Parkway near Avenue N during the summer in the mid-late 1960's. We have great memories of those days. So, when he told me about this awesome Carvel store near his home, I knew I had to check it out. Wow! I was very impressed! The first thing I noticed when we went in there was how remarkably clean it was. The owner obviously takes great pride in his Carvel store. I had a large vanilla cone with sprinkles. Our server was very friendly and courteous. As I took my first "lick" of the ice cream cone, it immediately brought me back to my days of youth and that Carvel ice cream parlor in Brooklyn. The taste was magnificent: thick, creamy and smooth. It was truly a delicious experience. I will definitely come back upon my return trip in early March when I come down to watch some spring training baseball. Thank...
