Buy at your own risk. I know I should've listened to my gut about buying jewelry from a large chain store, but I thought what could go wrong with a pair of 14K Gold Huggies? I bought 2, 8mm clicker huggies in 14K gold that are sold individually. They're $120 each.

I bought them to wear in my third ear lobe piercings and mostly wore these, but would change out with studs and crawlers for a different look. The hoops ruined my piercings. I went and saw a professional piercer and she said they caused my channels to drop and tore tissue. The piercings would get so red/purple and inflamed that they were unbearable to put any earring in. My one piercing dropped so low that I can't wear anything in them now. The piercer told me to take the huggies out and never wear them again. She said they are made too small and the clicker part is thinner than the earring, so she said when they move around in your piercing, they pull and tear.

Now my piercings look like they are going to close and the professional piercer said that will likely happen, and best to start over. So now I'm out $240 on bad earrings, $100 for the piercings, and $120 for the studs and backings from my piercings. I also had a pair of custom crawlers made for those piercings and they were $600. I had my first gorjana experience the other day and it was fabulous! I went in with a slight idea of what I thought I wanted, but had never been to a gorjana store or tried any of the jewelry so I was excited to learn about the different styles. Lexi greeted me and was amazing the entire interaction! She was patient and worked with me as we moved across the store to find the perfect sets of earrings and layering necklaces. These sales girls are so stuck up. I don’t know why they believe they are so superior or maybe they have just grown up as spoiled brats. My Daughter went in to get a couple of Xmas gifts and had to interrupt the group of sales girls gossiping in the corner. She politely asked to see an item and the girl has the nerve to say “do you want to see it or buy it” what’s it to her that is her JOB that is the least she could do.
