Aqua Wellness Day Spa — Local services in Carmel-by-the-Sea

I've been going to Tricia for years at their PG location and I was excited to see what the new Carmel spa would offer. It did not disappoint. The whole spa has a great vibe, the treatment rooms are clean and comfortable, and the relaxation room is incredible. In sticking to the water theme that it's named for, the waterfall fountain they've created it the master touch. I've never seen a water feature quite like this, and it's the closest sound to actual rain that I've heard. It's the perfect spot to unwind before or after a massage or skin care treatment.

The massage given by Tricia is by far the best deep tissue massage I've had. I have a strenuous job and have seen at least 20 therapists over the years. Tricia's knowledge and intuition keeps me coming back, and I'm pretty sure she trains most of the therapists in her style.

I booked a facial and massage at Aqua Wellness Day Spa. The facial was AMAZING, the staff was professional, knowledgeable and educated me about skin care. The massage was by far the WORST MASSAGE I've received. I get a decent amount of massages due to running soreness and overall tightness. This was the first time a massage therapist didn't ask me a single question about areas to work on or to avoid. She just started rubbing my back. She did the same thing over and over, rubbing on my bones, and I felt her nails the entire time. It was supposed to be a deep tissue massage and not a single knot or tight area was addressed. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone there is professional and very knowledgeable, overall a great vibe throughout!

Received a phenomenal massage from Destinee, she even took the time to show me a few easy stretches to help keep my neck and shoulders from becoming too tense at Work/Home.

The relaxation room is incredible and very calming, I could stay there for hours.

In my opinion this is definitelty the best...
