I only gave this place one star so I could leave some advice for prospective future tenants, as I am a nurse, I see this as mini public service announcement to protect the innocent. Here our my experiences with this company listed in chronological order: When I first moved in, I went to the leasing office to inquire as to how to put in a Maintenence request, Tracy the office manager informed me that this was the leasing office and she did not handle Maintenence requests, adding âthe maintenance office isnât even in this buildingâ. My AC went out the week of the 4th of July, it took over a week to fix. I was given a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant that is also one of their tenants as âcompensationâ for being unable to reside in my apartment for 10 days. The elevators are out of order on a weekly basis. The parking was free but difficult to find. When I approached the office manager (name as above mentioned) about paying for a parking spot, she blew me off. I lived on the north side of the building and every morning during the week, the trash service comes and empties the dumpsters for the whole building and the smell was pretty rancid. Living on the north side of the building you will smell this. Especially with no AC during the summer. My lease is up & now I have gone to Huntington Bank on 3 occasions to cash the $660 that has been returned to me as my deposit. After several conversations I am still at a loss and unsure if I will be receiving those funds or if this company makes it a practice of issue bad checks. Please have caution before signing a lease with...
Read moreThey pride themselves on âluxury living,â but have horrible customer service and front staff. The amenities they pride themselves on such as fireplaces and gaming centers do not work properly and or they make a lousy excuse and say they donât work so they donât have to exert energy into fixing them. Also, one of the main ladies who works in the office, Kristy, is a complete freak.. I have caught her multiple times taking pictures of me, she polices the hallway, and makes people validate their living credentials when she unwelcomingly pokes her head out of her apartment door - She lives here and is my âlovelyâ neighbor lol - (which doesnât make sense because itâs a secure building so if someone is on a floor they are either friends of someone who lives in the building or they live in the building themselves). This has happened more than once too. She has even run our friends (three or four) out of the pool area because they âdonât live here,â even though there way plenty of room for them and they were complying with all rules and regulations. She takes her job way too seriously and makes the living experience extremely uncomfortable. She has even confronted us about watching us on the security cameras while we were swimming... Like what? I have contact Keystone Property Group of Indianapolis multiple times about her. Itâs not all that it is hyped up to be, AT ALL. Because of this lady, I have referred more than six or seven people to other apartment complexes... I would totally look elsewhere in your search for places to...
Read moreIâve lived at Sophia Square with my daughter for over two years and itâs been nothing short of amazing. I decided to move here initially because of a not so great experience at another apartment community and of course the amazing the location. I can easily take my daughter to the kiddo park on the Monon and walk around with ease to different winery and eateries. The ladies in the leasing office are THE BEST with providing above and beyond customer service. Carolyn, the property manager is a sweetheart whose always there to listen to any concern, Tracey is friendly with an outgoing demeanor and Kristi is all hands on deck ready to fix any and every problem. I have to give a big shout out to Elliot and Clinton who are just two of the most hilarious, friendly, hardworking, and responsive Maintenance crew Iâve ever known. Sure, the building has had some elevator problems in the past but itâs gotten soooo much better in the last couple Months. The wonderful staff and amazing location are the main reason I enjoy living here and call this place home! Itâs freaking awesome and oh, they always have treats for my daughter whenever we visit the office which is a plus. If youâre thinking about moving here, go for it, you wonât regret it. Come and experience the beauty of living at Sophia Square, thereâs a chance you may meet the love of your life here lol or some besties đŻââď¸...
