My wife and I are way into antiques. We have been looking for a new spot in the area, and I stumbled across Oddities and Such from Google. We stopped in today, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have found this spot. This is such a cool place, filled to the brim with carefully curated treasures and we felt honored to look around. But, if I’m being honest, our time with Big Red really made our day. Richard is a wonderful guy who cheerfully greeted us at the door. We struck up a conversation and ended up finding he likes orange soda. We had to run to the ATM to get cash (this place is cash only) and we picked him up an ice cold orange soda as a little surprise. In our conversation, I found out that our birthdays are one day apart. He started calling me Little Red (because of my red hair) and shared stories with us about his childhood and his past adventures. All in all, today we left this shop feeling excited for the wonderful things we found and fulfilled from the time we got to spend with our new friend, Big Red.
