The store is always clean and well stocked. They have amazingly low prices on everyday essentials, as well as seasonal items.
Aldi offers some national brand products, but most items are part of their Private Label brand. My experience with the quality of Aldi's Private Label products has been equal to the brand name counterparts.
Aldi's Milk, Almond Milk, coffee creamer, yogurt, and other dairy products taste great and cost significantly less than other grocery stores.
Aldi is not a "close-out" store. It's a true grocery store, just with a smaller footprint than other grocery stores. The main difference is in the choice of brands. Example: Aldi has canned vegetables (green beans, corn, etc.), but they typically only have their Private Label brand. Whereas other grocery stores might have 2, 3, or even more brands of green beans to choose from. Trust me when I say nobody will notice a taste or quality difference between the Aldi Private Label products and big name brand items.
If you haven't been to Aldi before, you should give it a try by getting a few essentials like milk, bread, eggs, and cereal. The savings are noticeable when picking up just these few items.
NOTE: To keep their costs low, they encourage customers to put their cart away after shopping. They do this by requiring you to insert a quarter into a lock on the grocery cart. Once you're finished with the cart, you take it back to the front of the store, lock the cart, and get your quarter back.
ALSO, you are encouraged to bring your own reusable bags. This is another way they keep costs low. If you don't have a bag with you, they offer disposable and reusable bags for purchase. The money you save on food is well worth the few cents you might have to...

Read more1st there were 30 people in line and 1 cashier. I have never seen an Aldi not have back up cashiers.
Second and more importantly. I needed to split my tra section between my food stamps and my cash. Because half of the food was for someone else and I didn't want to spend my food stamps on their food.
The cashier said that was ok.
So I calculated and gave him cash. Then I used my EBT card. And the transaction canceled.
So we went to re run it. And CLAY the cashier. Ran the entire ammount on my EBT CARD. And now I have no food stamps left for the month till it renews.
And there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO FIX IT. BECAUSE ONCE THE MONEY HAS LEFT THE EBT you can't put it back on.
I will never return to Aldi again because of the ignorance and negligence...
