Looking for a boba shop with fully customizable drinks, then you’ll love TeaLatte Bar.
This is the only boba place that I know in Dallas that allows you to customize your drink fully. They offer different tea leaves options, toppings, and milk (dairy & non-dairy) along with their varied menu of coffee, frappe, lemonades, smoothies, fruit teas, etc. I’ve been here so many times over the last 2 years that I’m not sure what my favorite drink is anymore. I love their watermelon green tea, jasmine green tea with cheese foam, and recently, their pink dragon hibiscus tea.
They have such a huge menu so everyone will be able to find something they like. My boyfriend doesn’t like sweet drinks much, but he likes TeaLatte because he can customize his milk tea down to the tea flavor. They brew the tea fresh in front of you, so it’s not prep from a tea container like most boba places. Customer service has always been great, but sometimes it might take a long time depending on how busy the store is. They have a nice ambiance and are super cozy, so don’t be shy to bring your laptop to study here. Prices are typical compared to other boba shops, costing around $4.50-6 per drink depending on what you get. Highly recommended if you’re looking for more...
Read moreI am disappointed. The first time I came in, the cashier and barista were both super nice to me, and inviting. The black milk tea I got was actually not very good, way oversteeped, but their customer service made me want to come back and try something else. I went in today, and both the cashier and barista (different than last time) were both pretty unfriendly and frankly, rude. I'm not expecting fake smiles, but I was just asking questions about a drink, trying to figure out how to make it as unsweet as possible. The cashier got visibly frustrated and impatient with me, which seemed a little whack since I was a paying customer asking questions. I wasn't holding up the line, it was 4 questions max. I'm pre-diabetic so I have to make sure to limit my sugar intake, and being treated with impatience over legitimate health concerns was pretty insulting. Then, when the barista put the drink on the counter and I said thank you, she didn't even acknowledge my presence at all. Again, not expecting a fake smile, but simply acknowledgement as a human being who tipped and paid for a drink. I'm EXTREMELY hesitant to come back. I probably won't until the staff that I saw today gets an...
Read moreStopped in after dinner for a latte. Masks are required at this time, so just put it on. Staff is all masked up. The place is super clean and seems very popular with the locals, we were lucky to find a place to sit on a Saturday night. After we ordered, about 6 or 8 people came in. Got their drinks and out the door they went. They have a long bar in front of one of the windows with stools to sit. There is also a long bench along the wall with tables and chairs, and a couple more small tables. Seems they were pushed back sort of to allow more room for the line, but not sure. The line moves fast & the staff is very friendly. I ordered an almond milk vanilla shot latte and it was made-to-order. My guests had a chai latte and a regular coffee and they were very pleased with theirs. The prices are competitive and it seems like a nice place to...
