DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! Negative stars for this place! My mom, sister, and I drove almost 1 hour to this store this past Saturday hoping to find barong dresses to wear for my niece's wedding. Mom called the store a few before our arrival inquiring about special orders and taking measurements. The lady informed her only the owner can do the special orders and measurements and that the owner is there Saturdays and Sundays. I called Friday, the day before our trip to the store, to confirm the information. When we arrived at the store, the owner was NOT there. Mom reminded the sales lady about their conversation that the owner would be there and that was the only reason we drove there on a Saturday, that the owner would be at the store. I reminded the lady of our conversation just the day before to confirm that info. We asked the sales lady to call the owner since we were told she would be there. The sales lady wanted to ensure we were going to place orders before calling the owner. After INSISTING she call the owner, she finally called. The lady assured us the owner lived nearby and was on her way. We waited about 10 minutes then left. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME! BAIT AND SWITCH is what came to mind! BEWARE OF THIS SHOP-PE! I am getting married this coming August and scoured the internet for places and stores that can custom-make a bundle of Barongs. I was always told that places in the US will overcharge and I should purchase directly from the Philippines. I shopped around online and realized after getting a few quotes that I may forego the Barong idea and just rent suits. As a last ditch effort, I popped into this store just to see different styles and perhaps find inspiration to spend the money for tradition. The sales person I dealt with was very very helpful, honest, and knowledgable. I found this process to be so much easier working through them, I decided to see what the total cost would be for them to order the Barongs for me and my groomsmen.
