Carson Library — Attraction in Carson

I hate it all I hate everything about it ,the nice warm comfy and cozy touches are gone and what up with the gray scale color palette, this place doesn't make me want to come inside pull up a chair and read a book it makes me want to find the nearest dark corner and hide it's too loud too bright too open too empty and there are too many cameras and all the comfy furniture is gone this place doesn't make you feel welcome it makes me want to go home it's unwelcoming you feel like you're on display and being watched I hate it, I'f I could give it zero stars I would and half of the books are gone and the material simply haven't been moved it's gone it's not even registered on their computer anymore it tells me they threw it away and the bathroom stinks all the time ,the new hours are pathetic is there going to be open that little amount of time they might as well not open on those days at all ,they should have simply updated and fixed what needed to be and left the rest alone if the place burn to the ground today or tomorrow I wouldn't feel the tiny shred of sympathy. By the way no that is not a threat that is...

Clean near library. Way too many filthy homeless people lingering around the entrance with shopping carts full of junk. I'm homeless but I shower every morning at 3 am at the gym and is very organized ... I stop going to Manhattan Beach Library on Sundays because the homeless people pack in stinking so bad plus luggage, bags, lots of stinking dirty bags. Those bags could contain bed bugs or roaches I do not want them crawling in my purse going to my car with me especially not a pregnant one. Those homeless people smell bad ran me off, usually I have to get up and go downstairs with the kids because the smell is horrible. Their hands are filthy they get on the computers and never wipe down before leaving. At the Normandie library there is a man that is there all day walking around with piss wet pants all over his pants sitting in the chairs and stinking badly. He lol when I say things it's horrible people can't study at the library because the smell is so bad. The piss smell is sooo loud he sits there pissing on himself he stinks really bad making others suffer...

Remember back in the day , the library was a quit and serene environment for reading and studying?

The Carso Library is a daycare, where parents drop off their hyperactive children to play. This place is always noisy , its a homeless hang out & children's playground not a quiet environment for learning and studying. County Libraries are far to permmissive , they allow patrons to engage in conversation , tutoring or group discussio , playing music from the mobile phone , and making phone calls in the library . It's unbelievable what you must tolerate to use a County Library.
