I love DD's but this location I gave two stars because I hate to play the race card but sometimes I feel very uncomfortable with some of their cashiers. It's been more than a couple of times in the past where I needed customer service and asked what I feel were very simple customer service questions being that I've worked in retail for 20-plus years myself at various department stores and managing them as well. One thing that you should never do as a customer service assistant is speak to your customer's in their language and then change the language that you're speaking to an employee in an obvious way of being disrespectful talking loud laughing in a different language in front of a customer it's just a no no big sign of disrespect because that customer does not know what you're saying especially when you're making it obvious that you're talking about the customer this has happened more then three or four times to me and I've seen it also done to other customers in my presence, even the cashier looked at me for confirmation like it was okay at the same location so it's not just me. Get it together DD's. Let me end this by saying I have nothing against any worker who speaks a different language Spanish Etc. But if you're already dealing with a customer and you're speaking their language English.. please do not! go from English to Spanish to one of your staff team members Etc in front of that customer especially when it's obvious that you don't either like what that customer has to say, don't want to do what that customers is asking of you xcetera. Very upsetting. You would not want the same treatment and that has been known in this world today. FYI. This gets done a hundred percent of the time at the DD's on Tweety if your African-American do not go to that DD's. Just don't. It's not just the staff it's also the customers at this location do yourself a...
Read moreAlthough their prices are reasonable, I don't shop much at places like this. It's always hard for me to find something that looks really nice on me.(I'd rather shop at a department store.) Not to mention, they are rarely organized, which makes it almost impossible to find anything you're looking for. But, my son wanted a wallet, so I figured I'd give them a shot. That couldn't be too hard to do find, right? We entered the store and was greeted immediately, so I asked where to find the wallets and was directed to their location. Ok here we go. But today, I was in luck. To my surprise, we were able to find a wallet he liked with almost no effort. (They were all tossed on a little table display. Not organized) Then my son said, mom I need a new pair of sandals. Ok I figured, we just passed some of those and there seemed to be quite a few. Well he is in between men and boys sizes, depending on where you shop. Today it happened to be boys, no size 6 anywhere in men's. And just like I thought none in boys either. But, he didn't walk away without anything. Just when we were about to throw in the towel, he spotted a pair of white and black Adidas, and they just so happened to be a size 6! Check out, here we come. There was no line by the time we got to the check out so it went quick. My only complaint, the cashier was not too worried about my experience, if I found everything I was looking for our anything to that degree. He was to busy having a conversation with someone on the phone. I thought he was talking to me at first, but his comment made no sense until he said, Are you still mad. Then I realized, he was on his Bluetooth. That's fine, but you could have waited until my transaction was over. It's...
