I had a baby 2 weeks ago and had never used the click list app to order my groceries before but with a new baby and flu/cold season under way I figured now was a great time to start. Our first order was a great experience and we were hooked. Unfortunately this evening I went to the Cartersville, Georgia Kroger to pick up my order I placed earlier this morning only to find out my order was not ready and would not be ready for another hour and a half. My order was supposed to be ready between 5-6pm. We arrived at 5:45pm to pick up. At first the women my husband spoke with told us our son called and told her we would pick up our order tomorrow instead of today, which is interesting since our son is only 2 weeks old. When my husband asked to speak with a manager and explained our situation that after driving 35 minutes from our home with a newborn baby we needed our groceries, the assistant store manager stated there wasnāt anything he could do other then offer us $20 off our order. We were not looking for money off our order all we wanted was someone to get our order and bring it out to us. My husband suggested that the assistant manager could pull the order, but he acted like this was beneath him. Unfortunately we didnāt have the option to come back in and hour and a half or go to dinner with a newborn. All that would have been required to avoid this situation is for someone from the Cartersville Kroger to reach out to us and let us know they were running behind prior to leaving our house. Our phone number is in the app/account associated with our order, so our contact information was readily available to them. Once the managers realized our situation, someone should have been tasked with putting a rush on our order to get it out to our car. This is a tremendous disappointment, huge inconvenience, and an absolute failure of customer service. Ultimately we left Kroger without groceries rather than wait an hour and a half or risk exposing our newborn to potential cold/flu germs. We are highly disappointed. After this experience I was in disbelief that Kroger would not do what was necessary to make this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJonathon in the pharmacy is the WORST employee I have ever dealt with at a pharmacy. Heās been very rude in the past, but today he crossed the line. I left the hospital last night and they called my medication into Kroger pharmacy. I called them this morning before I left the house and I was told by a female that she would expedite my medication and it would be ready in 30-45 mins. I got here around 40 minutes after that phone call. Jonathon was at the window and told me the meds werenāt ready. I asked when they would be and he said he could mark them to be ready in 30-45 mins. I explained Iāve already called and that this was already said to me. He said āmaāam, you didnāt call because if you did they would have told you that it would be ready in 4 hours since you werenāt at the store yet.ā. I was really upset that he basically called me a liar. I showed him the number I called and he verified it was the correct number, but restated that I didnāt call because that info wouldnāt have been told to me. He walked away from the counter and came back and said that no one in the pharmacy told me it would be ready and that the ONLY person they talked to this morning was told 1 hour wait. That is simply not true. I was told 30-45 minutes. Even if that person that had the 1 hour wait was me, then my meds should have been almost ready. He continuously interrupted me and raised his voice with me. I asked what his name was (I already saw the badge) and he attempted to cover his name. I said ājonathon?ā And he said āthatās meā. And walked off. I called corporate and theyāre dealing with it hopefully. DO NOT come here!!! Jonathon will make you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was/am very impressed with Lily, ( in case there is more than one), she has short light hair, skinny, and very cheerful! Her customer service friendly oriented kindness is going to get her far. It was a long day, that started with a part on my car that needed fixing, paying bills, and by the time I got to the grocery store, admittedly I was tired. She was bagging and started the conversation,"How are you today, mam?" I smiled, and was laughing about something, I can't remember what it was, but I responded back kindly. She asked me," If she could take my groceries out for me?" I usually get them by myself, but decided to accept the help. To bless her in turn she was a blessing to me! We kept talking. She asked me to excuse her, b/c a lady's cart got locked up on the way out. Laughing, I thought she asked if my car was locked? She quickly finished with her and I asked her if she would put the cold things up front so I could get them into the fridge first when I got home? She did what I asked and introduced herself as Lily. She asked what my name was and I told her it was Kristina. She said, if you need anything when I am here at work just ask. I thanked her and she went walking lightly to grab some carts and get back inside. What a breath of fresh air!!!š I thanked her again driving by as she pushed the carts into the corall of the grocery store. 𤪠Oh, if everyone did their jobs this way the world would be a better place. A little kindness goes a long way! What I needed she gave great! She's keeper, Kroger! šGod...
