Panera Bread — Restaurant in Cartersville

I am traveling through. I stopped here to get two coffees and a couple pastries. This place opens at 6:30 AM. I came in at around 8:15 AM. They had nothing set up no half-and-half or milk or anything for the coffee and everybody’s walking around like zombies no sense of urgency,

I stood five minutes or more at the counter, waiting for someone to come up. I want to purchase the toothpaste and ask him for the half-and-half for the coffee. No one showed up.

I went over to the prep area and asked someone if I could be helped at the front counter. The lady said that the woman should be up there shortly. I went back up to the front and waited a couple more minutes before a lady came out to fill the coffee station with two cans that was not there before.

I asked her for half and half and she said I will get that for you. I walked up to the counter where she proceeded to help other customers who was waiting to order and totally ignored me. She then disappeared to the back.

After a couple more minutes I walked back to the food prep and asked to speak with the manager. We was apologetic and got the milk product himself. I finished making the coffees and gave up on ordering any food.

I can spend my money elsewhere and that is what I told the manager. He offered to give me the pastries, but I told him it’s too late for that. I spent over 20 minutes in the store, trying to get two coffees and pastries that I never got.

The store has been open for two hours, and they still didn’t have their stuff set up. The employees walk around with no sense of urgency. I have been to a lot of Panera Breads and this is by far the worst I’ve ever been to.

This special note is for the amazing employee who helped me a lot when I was in big trouble. I came to the Next Door Mexican Grill and I forgot my wallet. I m from texas and my everything was inside with my DL. I was very scared and tried to contact the willy's mexican grill but nobody answer the phone. This time i was three hours away from the place and i only had an hour to come back before the restaurant closed. Then i called the panera bread and some nice guy may be the manager answered my call. I explained him what happened and requested him to pass the message to the Mexican grill that i m on my way. He did not even take a 5 mins to pass the message and they called me. By the time i reached to the Grill the panera bread was closed. So i did not get chance to meet this amazing person. I m a member of Panera Bread as well and i love the food. I always try their food. All locations around the country are excellent. And the employees are very supportive and kind. This was the best example for their hospitality. I highly appreciate your support. So my wife and I were turned away again last night while trying to order food at Panera Bread in Cartersville GA. The first time we went in about a month an a half ago, they say they were out of Flat Breads and could not make the pizza we wanted. So we tried to get a Bread bowl of soup and they were again out of Bread Bowls. So we tried again last night and we go to the counter and attempt to place an order for Bread Bowls. This time again, they said they were out of Bread Bowls, only this time there was a bakers rack with perfect looking Bowls behind the man. I asked why they could not give us one of those and he said those were tomorrows bowls. He then goes and gets the manager and the manager said that they wont serve tomorrow bowls because they are too fresh and need time to rest. I told him that I thought a fresh bowl would be really good and I would rather have a fresh bowl and he still turned us away. This makes no sense to me. On one had he could have served me the bread bowl and maybe I would not have been happy with it? But at least he tried. On the other hand he can turn me away completely and 100% guarantee that I...
