IHOP — Restaurant in Cartersville

My daughter and I was at the Cartersville location to eat breakfast on Easter Sunday April 4, 2021, the waitress was terrible, attitude was zero, she was very aggressive talking, she brought the pancakes out which looked like they had been crumbled up a little and didnt bring syrup with the order until about 4 minutes after the pancakes were out, I asked why didn't she bring syrup with the order, she said abruptly, I dont have but 2 hands, I said maybe you could have gotten one of your coworkers to help you with bringing your order to the table. Another young waitress came to the table and I asked her to help me because I do not want the other waitress to help me no more, then the so call manager runs out with a big attitude asking what's the problem, I explain the situation to her and I told her that I don't want that waitress waiting on me no more and that I want the other lady to wait on me because she was a nice person and the manager said no I'm gonna wait on you and I said bring my ticket to the table because I'm done here. I told the manager that I'm gonna call the area supervisor and make a complaint and that I'm gonna write a review about my daughter and I experience at this particular IHOP, she said whatever, I dont care I am the general manager here, this lady should not represent IHOP especially during these hard times with restaurants doing so badly, this was a awful experience, my daughter said we can never go to a IHOP again, we live in Cobb county in a very luxurious Country Club Community and we use to good service but this restaurant experience was terrible, I give the service here a -0- star, the owner need to bring in better management and waitresses instead of hiring people from the...

My wife and I have been here several times and every time has been consistently good.

I usually order one of the breakfasts, a couple eggs and meat and hashbrowns etc. They are pretty consistent though last time my over-medium eggs were overcooked a little more than usual, but still good.

One the most recent visit on Wednesday Oct 5th around noon, our service was with Amber, she's very professional , very efficient and extremely nice (thank you Amber!), she greeted us at the door, seated us and brought drinks right away.

I ordered the Mexican tres leches pancakes combo: 2 eggs, meat choice, hash browns toast and the 2 pancakes. The have a vanilla syrup and caramel drizzle on top with whipped cream...STUPID GOOD! It doesn't look like alot of food on the menu but I could barely finish it, which is rare.

My wife had the spicy beef beef bowl which is shredded beef, poblano, Serrano and red peppers, onions, avocado, shredded jack and cheddar cheeses, on a rice medley. She loves this bowl because of its great flavor and spiciness (it's not too spicy for someone who doesn't like too-hot spicy, but it's got a little kick).

Service is usually fast (though they are usually busy) and haven't had an order issue yet. All of the servers there seem great, and I need to mention another above-par server named Morgan. She is extremely customer service oriented, friendly, helpful with your order questions, and doesn't hover but makes sure you have everything. (Thanks Morgan!)

My review is for service on 7/19/24, I'm just now getting around to leaving my review. I came to dinner with my partner, his mom, and our toddler. We sat down and I asked for a highchair which our server brought over but kind of tossed it down. After that she left for 10 minutes and came back to ask if we were ready to order our food. My partner asked if we could start with drinks. After the drinks arrived we ordered, but while I was trying to order the original crispy sandwich she looked at me like I had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. She kept asking me if I meant the burger which I said "yes but it's with the crispy chicken filet". The rest of the night she only came back to the table once to check on us and then we never saw her again. Another table that was here before us was visibly upset when we sat down and throughout our whole meal. The other table left and while passing us mentioned how rude and unprofessional our server was. I knew we had the same server because she walked over there a few times before we got our food. The food was amazing and very delicious and if the service was better I would have left a 5 star review. The only way we could pay to leave was to flag down a manager.

The servers name was Savannah assuming the receipt is actually the server and not the manager that checked us out. The marked out area is my partners name since he paid.
