I just had one of the best customer service experiences that I ever had in my life. First, I was in last week to purchase a custom monogrammed purse for my mother and a custom monogrammed wallet for my wife for Christmas. Walking in to Swagger as a clueless man can be a bit daunting...I was immediately greeted by the ladies working and was asked if I needed help, which I replied with "YES PLEASE!" The woman who assisted me in finding my gifts was incredibly helpful and made great suggestions about colors, lettering, etc. Today, I went to pick up these items and noticed that the monograms on the products were switched...meaning my wife's monogram was on my mother's purse and vise versa. Come to find out, I had signed off on it this way...I should have paid better attention to the product names at the top, but unfortunately I was focused on getting the monograms spelled right, LOL. I spoke with April about this and she was nothing but understanding and helpful. She spoke with the Manager, who's name I did not get, and they advised that today is the Monogrammer's last day before taking off for the holidays and that they would get it fixed today, even though the typical lead time is 4-5 days. They also told me that they would replace these items free of cost. I was absolutely NOT expecting them to do that, as it was my screw-up. When I told the Manager that I felt it was fair for me to pay for it since I signed off on it, she said the following and I quote... "This is not the way you wanted it, so we are going to make it right. Merry Christmas!" To me, this is the epitome of outstanding customer service; having the customer's best interests in mind, even at the expense of profit. Multiple employees walked by us as we were shopping and no one said anything to us or offered us any help. My sister and I were looking at the enewton bracelets and trying them on to see how they looked with the stack we had on and had previously purchased other places. We were about to buy 4 of the bracelets whenever one of the employees gave another employee the “watch them” nod. My sister works in retail and knew what the look meant unlike me who’s never worked in retail. We immediately put back the bracelets and left. If you’re going to sit and watch people’s every move and be suspicious of them stealing, at least try to make your “looks”...
