Ooh la la C’est bien Ca ! Chef Rawat and Mamta’s latest venture here was such a delightful experience and like Chef Serge of Bodega Wake Forest ( nee St.Jacques ) who was with me said - a remarkable journey into the love and passion which has gone in each of his delectable creations ! We can relish it in each mouthful of the soft & succulent Methi chicken kebabs , the perfectly done Lamb chops , the melt in the mouth Galouti kebabs ( very rarely do you see this dish ) , and of course the exceptional Whole Fish fried ( Pompano ) which like both he and Dr.Flynn ( Transfer Food Hall ) said was done just right . ( very easy to mess up fish 😉and shrimp ) Pairing his unique Tiger Naan - which Chef Serge said stood the test of any French bread or baguette in its ability to taste as good and feel as crisp even after we took our time relishing dipping it into the exceptional and signature dish - the Dal Saffron , along with South Indian creamy Coconut sea food dish with Tiger Prawns 🍤, Scallops and Fish and the absolute not to miss “ Raan “ - whole leg of lamb marinated overnight and slow cooked in the tandoor which simply falls of the bone ! Of course if you get a chance try to reserve the “ Gabbar Singh table “ ( in lieu of the Chef’s table ) Congratulations 🍾🎊🎉🎈 Chef Rawat & Mamta you have us a remarkable experience of the famed Indian hospitality and exceptional cuisine . As some of you may know other than whisking Mamta away from the valleys of the Himalaya’s Chef Rawat cut his teeth at the world famous Bukhara at Maurya Sheraton Delhi ( for many years the #1 North west frontier restaurant in the world )!before he was a chef at Saffron and opened his own Mantra , Aroma , Amber and now this . Having relished his innovative and exceptional creations for over 18 years we can vouch for the outstanding food and exceptional experience that he and his team provide at Saffron !

My family recently had the pleasure of dining at Saffron Indian Restaurant for dinner after seeing it making a name in the list of Top 20 restaurants in the area, and we must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the authentic Indian cuisine that we had the pleasure of tasting. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and truly reflective of traditional Indian dishes. Each bite was a delightful journey of spices and aromas that delighted my taste buds. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients were evident in every dish, and it truly elevated the overall dining experience. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service and hospitality provided by the staff were also commendable. The owners of Saffron Indian Restaurant were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made sure that all of our needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was enjoyable. Their passion for Indian cuisine shone through, and it added a personal touch to the entire evening. The restaurant itself was well-maintained and had a charming ambiance that created a cozy and intimate setting. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family, Saffron Indian Restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Overall, I can confidently say that Saffron Indian Restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The combination of delectable food, top-notch hospitality, and a warm atmosphere make it a standout dining destination. If you're a fan of authentic Indian cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, I highly recommend paying a visit to Saffron Indian Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

This new Indian restaurant in town justifies all the good reviews they are receiving. The food quality is just top notch, very close to authentic Indian taste you will ever find in States. They have plenty of vegetarian options and great ambiance. We ordered Dal Bukhara, Naan, Chili Garlic Noodles and Paneer 65. Everything was just perfect. I would recommend to try their Dal Bukhara if you haven’t. Their menu has everything for everyone. Vibrant, tasty and has accommodated pan India dishes. Even though some may find it little pricey, the food quality compensate the high price. However, I did have a bit off experience regarding their service. It felt different, it took about 15 minutes after we got the table for someone to come check on us and another 5-7 before we got water on our table and another 10 before we could place an order for food. I saw other tables where Indians were seated and having same issues. Non-Indian tables were prioritized at much faster pace who got their table at about same time at ours. Needless to say it felt little bitter to be treated differently being an Indian in an Indian restaurant, but I’ve had this experience at few other Indian restaurants as well, which definitely should not be there. I hope they take notice of it and improve on service and prioritize the tables equally. My 4 star review is more focused on their food quality and ambiance and a hope that service will be improved before we visit again!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a birthday party at Saffron Indian Cuisine, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience that I will not soon forget. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality. Saffron Indian Cuisine truly impressed me with both its delectable food and top-notch customer service.

First and foremost, let's talk about the food. As soon as the aromatic spices filled the air, I knew I was in for a treat. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with flavor and perfectly crafted. From rich curries to sizzling tandoori delights, Saffron Indian Cuisine made sure that every dish was a true masterpiece. The quality of ingredients was evident in every bite, and it was clear that the chefs took great pride in their culinary creations.

The birthday party itself was held in a private area of the restaurant, beautifully decorated and cozy. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was arranged to perfection, making the celebration truly special. The attentive servers catered to our every need, making sure that all guests felt welcome and enjoyed their time. Our glasses were always refilled promptly, and each course was flawlessly served.

One of the highlights of the evening was the graciousness and warmth of the staff. They never missed a beat, constantly checking in on us and attending to any requests we had. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, as they guided us through the array of dishes, explaining their origins and ingredients. The servers' passion for their work shone through, further enhancing our dining experience.

I cannot recommend Saffron Indian Cuisine enough to anyone seeking an outstanding Indian dining experience. The combination of incredible food, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service makes this restaurant truly stand out. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a lavish celebration, Saffron Indian Cuisine should definitely be at the top of your list.

All in all, my visit to Saffron Indian Cuisine was extraordinary. The fantastic flavors, the impeccable hospitality, and the inviting ambiance all contributed to a truly memorable evening. I am grateful to have celebrated my friend's birthday at this remarkable restaurant and will certainly be returning as a regular patron.

Nestled far away from the glitz of famous actress Priyanka Chopta's Indian restaurant Suna, lies Saffron Indian Cuisine - a culinary oasis in Cary, North Carolina that transcends expectations.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a waiter whose resemblance to Tom Cruise is uncanny, adding a touch of star-studded allure. A list of jazz lounge classics encourages guests to not just sit, but fully settle into their sumptuous booths. The ambiance exudes an understated elegance, a refreshing departure from the mysterious allure of underground Cary.

Prepare to embark on a gastronomic journey unlike any other, where even the simplest of dishes, like pickles, become an out-of-body experience*. The Crazy Naan, aptly named, lives up to its reputation, tantalizing taste buds with its bold flavors and inventive twists. Whether the guest prefers authentic dishes or regional cuisines, Tom can advise on the perfect protein to pair with each unmatched curry. With ever the lightest touch, he will allow the guest to chart their own journey of pairings, as desired.

The restaurant boasts an incredibly rare wine selection, curated with exquisite selections from around the world, including two truly unique gems from the famous Sycamore Lane Vineyards - a red Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio - not indulging in either of these wines during your meal would be a regrettable oversight, denying a true exquisite taste sensation.

Yet, it's not just the food that captivates; it's the impeccable hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. Each dish arrives promptly, a testament to the seamless orchestration behind the scenes. Thanks to the attentive care of Amit and his team, guests may feel like the years are rolled back as the courses progress. They are left feeling cherished and eager to return.

In a city teeming with dining options, this establishment shines as a beacon of excellence, surpassing even the most esteemed competitors. Whether seeking a memorable evening out or simply craving exceptional cuisine, this hidden gem promises an experience worth savoring time and time again.
