Unfortunately, the only reason this place has so many 5 star reviews is because the staff asks you to leave 5 stars. My group of 3 solved the Egyptian room in half the time, but we knew it would be “easy” because of the 65% win rate. (I should have known at this point.) My issues have more to do with the way the room was actually run. First, a text-to-speech AI generated Ali-Baba introduces you to the game. My team couldn’t stop laughing at it and how cheap it was. I would have preferred for Staff to just tell me the story. Secondly, Staff did not tell us we could use flashlights so we were in the dark until the AI Ali-Baba told us to use them. Third, the ‘hint’ that we asked for just TOLD us how to solve the next puzzle. It was very disappointing. Fourth, and my biggest gripe with this place is that TWO OF THE PUZZLES WERE ALREADY SOLVED. Staff failed to properly reset the room and it ruined 2 puzzles. Finally, there was a room within the room that had an entrance of about 12inches wide, so the room is not accessible to anyone wider than 12 inches.

Overall, I feel cheated out of $28 ($84 for 3 people) especially having been to multiple escape rooms within 20 minutes of this one and paying the same. I don’t recommend and I think this place needs to level up if it’s going to stay around. The only way this place could redeem itself in my eyes is by me trying another room, but Im not motivated to do so with other escape rooms...

We had a really fun, whole family experience. This is the first escape room we've ever done, so do not have anything to compare to. We chose Times Up, because it is one of the few places that has a room that can accommodate up to 12 people. The challenges were really creative and well thought out. Good for families of mixed ages. We did the Millionaire Murder Mystery. We were in the first room off to the left. When we started, it was very noisy outside the room when another group came in for their challenge. It was very distracting, until they moved on to their room. A heavier door would go along way to helping with that. We were a mom and dad and 9 children from age 11 to 27, and grandma. There were challenges for everyone to work on. You get 3 free hints and 2 extras, if needed, but it cost you a couple of minutes off the clock. We came so close to solving, but didn't quite do it. We had a great family experience and definitely recommend Times Up!...
