I bought my 2016 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership, which came with a warranty. Unfortunately, just six months after the purchase, the thermostat needed to be replaced. I scheduled service and was told that it would take 2-3 days to get it fixed. However, it took a whole week to complete the repair. To make matters worse, the newly installed thermostat failed again after just a couple of months.
I brought the Jeep back to the dealership, and they told me that it would take another 2-3 days to fix the issue. But, after waiting for four days, they informed me that it would take a few weeks to get it back. As a single dad with two kids, this delay is unacceptable. I cannot believe that a dealership can have such poor customer service. I have bought my last two vehicles from this dealership, but I will not be returning a third time.
To resolve the issue, I have been trying to contact the dealership all day but have not received any updates or information on the warranty. I decided to call the warranty company, only to find out that the warranty I was sold is not what was shown to me at the dealership. The warranty barely covers anything, and many people have been scammed by this company according to the online reviews.
UPDATE: The Jeep has now been returned to the dealership on three separate occasions to address this persistent issue. Shockingly, no substantial action has been taken, and the vehicle has been returned to me with the assertion that it's normal for a vehicle to operate at temperatures exceeding 230 degrees Fahrenheit during city driving. The dealership has declined to rectify the issue, which should rightfully fall under the coverage of the warranty they sold me. Their proposed solution was for their sales manager, Scott, to contact me with a deal for another vehicle, a clear indication that they are avoiding their responsibility and commitment to the warranty that Lexi in finance sold to me.
Upon delving deeper into the warranty terms and consulting with the warranty company directly, I discovered that the dealership didn't even initiate the warranty application until a problem arose. This implies that they were ready to pocket the funds if the Jeep had remained trouble-free for the initial two years. On reviewing all the service receipts, it's conspicuous that they consistently list the reason as "internal." It's evident that this establishment is rife with fraudulent practices, and they are unhesitant to deceive customers. Nick in the service department, Scott the sales manager, and Lexi in finance are individuals you cannot place trust in. My Jeep is still experiencing malfunctions, having overheated three times since its last service where I was told such overheating is normal.
I am compelled to warn everyone considering this dealership to take their business elsewhere. These individuals do not deserve your patronage. I have decided to have my Jeep repaired at a reputable, independent shop and will continue sharing my experience, accompanied by photographic evidence. The level of service provided to a veteran and a single full-time dad of two is deplorable. I cannot afford to allocate more time to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSave yourself the headache and stress, I honestly should have never went against my first gut feeling to not purchase from here. So many red flags ignored that I can only blame myself for. We went in and test drove the car which seemed great, went home to discuss it and agreed that it would fit our needs, so proceeded with the application process. I had a pre approval from Capital one which is how I ended up at CDJR, I was a little put off by the amount of notification I got for credit pulls as I assumed it was only Capital One(No oneās fault I misunderstood) I made it very clear I could comfortably put $2000 Chase called me to tell me that everything was good to go and that I just needed to bring a check in for the down payment when I got off work at 5:30, I let him know it would be about 6:30is as I was coming from Springs. We get there a little after 6:30 for Chase to bring a sheet of paper stating that the bank added on extra fees and was requiring $4000 or $5000 down, as pissed off as I was because you could have told me this before having me drive to castle rock. I let him know I could easily do $3000 but $4000 or $5000 would take everything I have from my next 3 paychecks. At this point I should have walked away but Iāve already spent 3 days driving to castle rock where we were just tired at that point and we needed something because our other vehicle kept having gas leaks. The car is delivered to my job the next day where one of my maintenance guys immediately lets me know that something is hanging in the back of the vehicle. I call Chase and he tells me to send a pic which I forgot to do right away but did end up sending a pic of some metal rod hanging, and a broken cup holder that was covered by a silicone insert. Iāve had the vehicle about 3 weeks and we have discovered what ever is hanging from the back, the broken/busted cup holder, the headed seat does not work (At least for the drivers side), the brakes were not replaced as they started screeching within a week, it sounds like a hellcat when you start it up because the engine rattles and of course I canāt get any of this looked at until I finish paying these scam artists their down payment, I would stay away from this place, I regret ever accepting any calls. I will not Tricia who I first spoke to was amazing and not at all pushy I she deserves recognition because she is the only reason I did buisness here was her amazing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAVOID, incomplete work and overpriced. Hard to believe! I brought my 2018 Grand Cherokee to this dealership for a cylinder misfire and was charged over $1,600. My son had same problem with his 2016 and got repaired for approx $600 at an independent shop. Less than 100 miles later, on drive of 23 miles, the car engine light came back on. Next day it would not start nor the engine turn over at all. Towed in to CR Jeep and was told I need a new engine. OMG!!! Then the calamity takes off. we discuss, options of rebuild, new, engine, or new short or long block where most the mechanical is. Asked for new, had to settle for new long block, estimate $14.6K. with warranty. I want a safe car for my family. Car sits, finally get a update that car will be ready over month later saying car will be ready this afternoon, BUT OH NO, not I get a text saying the need to replace burnt starter and Oil filler tube. WTH, this is suppose to be new parts, 0 miles when I go out the door. This should not be, further escalating my feeling of distrust/dishonesty. Pay for the car, on the receipt, there is a sentence from Tech saying this vehicle may have other issues in the future due to overheating from the origin work that did not get fixed. SERIOUSLY!! SUPPOSED TO BE BRAND NEW ENGINE FOR THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY. Pick up car, lift hood, the engine is still dirty and cover in dust and pine pollen like it did when it went in. Can you replace the engine without any signs of the top not being disturbed. Hear and unusual tapping noise on way home. Look under the car when I get home, see immediately there is a bolt half tightened on shield, @#$@! Suspicious now I look into the engine and see more bolt missing. At this point I am furious, take to another dealer who states on their receipt 16 bolts were missing and had to be put in. Are you kidding, you get down with an engine and you did not see 16 bolts left over. So I had to pay for the 16 missing bolts, and the labor because warranty does not cover parts that are not there. Can't make this $%*!! up. I did get a check from Castle Rock to pay for this. But not only have they lost a long time Jeep family (owned 5 over the yrs) they also lost my Ford Truck business. Over priced and...
