Dollar Tree — Local services in Castroville

If I could give this location a zero I would. The two ladies who were working this morning were very rude and not helpful at all. One blocked me in the aisle on both ends with her cart that she was unloading. When I asked her if she could move them so I could exit the aisle she aggressively moved the carts and knocked down a few boxes while doing so. At the checkout I realized I had left my wallet at home and I asked if my items (which were already bagged) could be put aside until I returned. The cashier told me that was fine but when I returned all of my items were put back. When I reminded her about what she had told me she replied "well you took too long". I then had to go back through the store and find all of my items again. I got to the checkout and there was a customer in front of me. All of a sudden the cashier turned off her register light and the other woman opened another register. I stayed in line and finally got to purchase my items. Frustrated and disgusted with their behavior I remained polite and calm because I wasn't going to let two miserable ladies ruin my day. If the owner or manager happens to read this review please tell your associates to do better. I've worked in customer service for years and we all have our bad days but never take it out on the customer. Such a shame.

It's a great location with a huge variety of products. Now don't get me wrong, the products are not all high quality but if you need some party supplies that you know you're only gonna use once, this is the place to go. I always come here for organizers and buckets because they are cheap and do their job. Not to mention the name-brand snacks that come in super small portions, which I absolutely adore. Highly recommend this location! The front staff are always kind...

I love Dollar Tree...period! Some stores are so.much nicer than others. There is a fantastic store in Hotsprings, Arkansas that I visit everytime I visit that city. The newer store in Castroville TX is clean, with wide aisles, friendly staff, and beautifully displayed merchandise.
