Peachwave - Stevens Ranch — Local services in Castroville

I was introduced to the treasure trove a while back when my boyfriend surprised me with froyo. I’ve been to lots of froyo places and was never really impressed with them so I typically never returned. Peach wave? Way different. Yeah sure it’s froyo like the other places but they have a few different things that makes them better. The toppings. They have the regular toppings as most places do but they have fruit flavored boba and mochi you can add, and mind you the boba is absolutely delicious. The have color changing spoons which I thoroughly enjoy, simple but fun. If you get the froyo delivered they give you a hand written note thanking you for supporting them. It’s a small gesture but it goes a long way for some. I have driven to the location and will do it again even though it’s nearly 30 minutes from me. Highly recommend this spot, I can’t stop eating froyo now because of it, but it has to be...

I don’t post reviews often but I wanted people to have an honest review to read before choosing where to take their family for frozen yogurt. Out of all the froyo shops this was the worst one. Frozen yogurt taste watery, melted incredibly quick (which I read in someone else’s review before going) The employees have ZERO customer service. The were out of granola and didn’t have regular oreo toppings. The gumball machine took my daughters money twice and when I told the cashier she simple replied, “I can tell the owner.” Why not put a out of order sign, offer an apology or give my kid their 50 cents back? Especially because there was no number to call on the machine so I’m assuming its owned by the owners. My wife and I didn’t enjoy it but even my kids couldn’t finish it. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and I’m not even sure they clean them by the way...

We love Peach Wave, although at this location sometimes you get young employees that look like they don’t want to be there or even have a friendly smile to give-that to me is always brings down the vibe of a place. This last time we visited (4/25/23 around 8:20p), there must have been a mad rush of people because the counters were dirty in a way they usually aren’t (sticky etc) , we had to wait for the female employee to come out from the back, and I had to ask for spoons and napkins because they were all out. She brought our spoons but then forgot the napkins, so I had to ask again. While we sat and ate the counters were never cleaned or even looked at. Maybe she was having a rough night, I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️. The selection of frozen yo is decent and nice selection of toppings! I would just suggest better employee...
