My recent experience at Wingstop was beyond disappointing. I placed an order over the phone at 5 PM and was informed that it would be ready for pickup by 5:35 PM. I arrived promptly at 5:30 PM and paid for my order, expecting it to be prepared shortly after. However, to my utter dismay, my order was left untouched on the shelf from the moment I arrived until I confronted the staff at 6:04 PM.
Despite patiently waiting and noticing the employees standing around, my order sat neglected for over half an hour. Only when I couldnât bear the delay any longer and confronted them did they realize the oversight. It is completely unacceptable for my order to be left untouched for such an extended period of time.
When I requested a refund, the staff struggled to find my name and process the refund. The manager, Selina, eventually located my order, but by that point, my patience had worn thin. I decided to cancel my order and asked for a refund.
The most frustrating part of this entire experience was the lack of accountability and the absence of any attempt to make up for the inconvenience caused. There was no apology, no offer of compensation, and no gesture to ensure customer satisfaction. When I requested the corporate contact information, Selina simply pointed at the wall without providing any further assistance.

After 20 minutes and before our order was called, I approached the counter to cancel and requested a refund. We had watched associates pushing garbage cans and then immediately handling food. We watched associates preparing food, bending over, picking up garbage from the floor, tossing it into the trashcan and immediately going back to handling food. We watched associates, picking at their clothing and wiping their foreheads, pushing their hair out of their way and immediately moving then to handle food. Disgusted, and out of an abundance of caution for our health, I requested to cancel and asked for a refund. The assistant manager Giselle Escalante was called to the front. I explained my request. She looked at my receipt took a photo of the receipt and informed me that we would need to wait because her boss was on vacation and the only person who can process a refund. She was blatantly disrespectful in her comments at us âwhats the deal?â when I was reluctant to accept a promise to refund in a week or so when vacation is over for the grand superior gatekeeper of all refunds for Wing Stop, even walking away from us when I asked her to find aa way. I went and picked up a to go order and it ended up being someone elseâs order with the same name as mine when I got home I realized the order was incorrect and everything was cold. I called to let them know and they apologized and said the person who got my order went in and complained as well and they fixed her order since I wasnât able to return to the store that night they reassured me that I could get my order replaced ANYTIME I was ready to pick it up they told me that my name was going to be written down with my order so there wouldnât be an issue. My order was placed on 1/23 around 9pm and now 2/9 I tried to redeem my order as promised and I was told they donât have any record of my order and they canât do anything about it if I donât have a receipt or proof of who I talked to I was never given a name of the manager or the person I talked to they said they just needed my name and that would be enough. I have never run into an issue like this especially when it was an error on their end. Staff I encountered today was rude and needs better training.
