The store itself has issues with meat going bad quickly. Iāve noticed specifically from this store our meat goes bad so fast. I thought it was my fridge temperature at first but only meat from this location does it and based on these other reviews Iām not the only one experiencing this. Otherwise the store is fine at best but if you have a busy schedule and plan on using curbside do it elsewhere. We moved here from Leon Springs and the curbside experience has been nothing short of horrible since changing to this HEB. There are not nearly enough spaces so the wait is extremely long sometimes being over an hour if you include the time you have to wait in a line of 30 cars. Every single time we order there is something wrong whether it be several items completely missing from the order, things thrown in the same bag or on top of others such as milk on top of bread, or laziness by the employees not wanting to substitute items that are out of stock. The last time we ordered they said they were āout of stockā on basic items such as apples and oranges. No attempt to substitute for a different type of apple and furthermore when we went inside to do so ourselves wouldnāt you know it thereās plenty of honeycrisp apples in the tray yet they told us they were out of stock. Today they told us that they were out of ground beef⦠at HEB. So I have to go out of my way and call while at work and ask why they couldnāt substitute for a similar weight/% beef. Turns out they werenāt out of stock again. Iām assuming the employee just didnāt feel like grabbing it so they just removed it from the order. Iāve noticed itās always items that are in corners of the store where they have to walk to get them. We never had a single issue at the other location. If you plan on using curbside to make your life easier think again because youāre going to wait in line forever just to make it home and realize youāre missing several items and have to go back, or theyāre just going to mark things as out of stock so they donāt have to deal with substitutes and walking too far. I would recommend placing your curbside order at a location close to your work or the one further down the road.
Edit: To make it even worse, when my wife showed up to pick up the order today the ground beef was STILL missing and they did not re add it to the order like I had called and asked for (and was told they were going to) So she had to wait even longer for them to go grab something they were supposed to in the...

I am absolutely heartbroken and furious with the way this HāEāB handled my sonās birthday cake order. A full week before his birthday, I called and confirmed with the bakery that they could print a photo of his favorite player, Jose Canseco, on a cake. They assured me it was not an issue. I ordered the cake, printed the image, and my husband delivered it in person. The staff told him it was perfect and everything was ready to go.
Less than 24 hours before the party, I received a call saying they couldnāt do it due to copyright concerns. This was never mentioned before, even though I followed every instruction they gave. The cake was for personal use only, and this last-minute cancellation left me no time to get a replacement. I only get to see my son for two hours on his birthday due to custody, and this was the one thing he asked for. HāEāB ruined that moment for us.
To make matters worse, I was told to call back at 3 a.m., which I did, only to be told no manager was available. Then I was told to call again at 6 a.m., and suddenly the story changed againāmanager came and left before 7, contradicting what I was told just hours before. Nothing but inconsistencies and lies.
Iām also pregnant, extremely stressed, and completely devastated. This was not just a cakeāthis was a memory I will never get back. Iāve lost all trust in this location, and the lack of empathy and professionalism is shocking.
And this isnāt the first time Iāve had a serious issue here. This is the same store where we found a piece of glass in the HāEāB thick cut bacon, which my daughter bit into. She had to undergo x-rays after being injured. I reported this to the store manager, and never even received a call back to ask if she was okay or to make it right. Not even an apology.
How can a grocery store ignore a child getting injured from their food and then turn around and ruin a childās birthday on top of that?
This storeās lack of accountability, empathy, and basic customer care is disgraceful. Iāve completely lost trust in HāEāB and especially this...
