Taco Bell — Restaurant in Castroville

They messed up every part of my order. First, I placed my order online, an hour early. The app says that they won't begin making the order until you check in at the drive thru, but they made it an hour early, as indicated on the receipt, resulting in the food being cold and soggy. Then they messed up my order in every way they possibly could. I got hot sauce instead of fire sauce, I got a burrito instead of a taco, I got a regular taco instead of a Doritos locos supreme, my cheesy gordita crunch was not made supreme, and I wasn't even given a straw. The first two times I've come here I was willing to forgive them giving me the wrong order, but since this is their third time messing up my order and clearly the norm at this taco bell, I will not be going back.

Oh and they didn't even include their store number on the receipt, which makes it harder for me to complain directly...

Can’t believe the terrible staff at this place. I arrived a couple minutes before my order was supposed to be ready, one employee asked my name, handed someone else their food, and then just walked away. After 10 minutes of standing there I realized my food was sitting there getting cold instead of being placed on the mobile pickup station. Finally I had to yell to the staff to ask if that was my food.

Someone came out and asked my name, then acted smart and refused to give me my food because I gave my last name instead of my first name. He looked at my order on my phone and saw my full name and order number, and still refused to give me my food until I apologized for the mixup. He claimed to be the manager, but he was certainly not courteous.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this is now the third time I’ve been to this location and the third time my order has been wrong.

It seems like either the speaker is broken or the staff just aren’t paying attention to what customers are ordering. Multiple times I’ve paid for items I didn’t receive. For example, today I ordered a DD taco with sour cream (which was missing) and instead of a 7-layer burrito I was given a bean and rice burrito.

On top of that, the staff often come across as unfriendly and borderline rude. This is my closest Taco Bell, but the service and accuracy of orders here are consistently disappointing. Management really needs to hold the team accountable or bring in employees who understand the importance of...
